unfortunate events

 I stopped losing weight...because I stopped trying...

Well, the break came and I know that everyone already knows what that usually means...eating way too much.  But I didn't really eat too much until later and after I was stuck home for over a week (and two more weeks after that because I didn't have anything else to do).  I ate really bad food and didn't stick to my diet.

I'm sure I gained at least 5 lbs. back and I may have gained up to ten....We'll see soon when I get back to Jenny Craig.  You know, people always rate these diet program for how successful people are on them...they all work ... if you stick to them.  Most people stop and then say the program didn't work.  Well, Jenny Craig tell me to eat their portion controlled until I lose a certain amount and work out.  If I do that I WILL lose weight, I DID lose weight.  But when I started cheating and not working out, well that when I started gaining weight. 

I talked it over with my guy and he doesn't mind if we continue to pay for the expensive food as long as it works and I stick to it.  It does work ... so I should continue it and stick to it.  He just wants me to stick to something.

So, I'm writing this blog entry to say that after a certain number of unfortunate events, I'm rededicated.

I'm losing weight!

I put an exclamation mark at the end of the title because I am really surprised.  This is the first time, in a long time, that I lost weight.  I am finally under 190 lbs. Jenny Craig is working!

Actually, I messed up some this week but I still lost 3 lbs! If I stick to it and work out the way I am supposed to, then I should be able to lose at least 2 lbs and probably more.

Jenny Craig

Well, I think I'm finally going to go all for it.

My sister did Jenny Craig and lost 25 lbs in a couple of months or so.  I thought I might join it.  I am also taking Hydroxycut.  I checked out nutrisystem, weight watchers, etc.  I chose this because I knew a few people on it and they really like it and speak highly of it.  I also know a few people taking hydroxycut and they are successful on it, too. 

Now, I really don't know anyone who does them both, but what is there to lose?

WEIGHT!

Oh, and I hope to work out much more now at the gym I pay $25 a month for as well as my school gym because I am already paying for it as a student. 

I used to be a member os 24hour fitness.  I was never intimidated there even when I was around the same size as I am now.  But for some reason, I am very intimidated to go to my school gym.  I just image that everyone in there is really fit and knowledgeable about health.

I remind myself that not everyone starts that way and that even I could reach that point eventually.  But its still a little intimidating to start.

I have class on Monday so I will check in then.

I'm sick.

I woke up sick this morning. My guy has been sick but of course I wouldn't stop kissing him. 

I ate left over vegan risotto chowder from PCC, then a protein bar.  I then had two stalks of celery with peanut butter.  I then had a whole bunch of kettle corn, peas and rice and vegan meat.  I just finished having soup with a few corn chips.

What I ate today!

I don't feel like inputting all of the food data so here is what I ate.  I had soup this morning and then a protein bar (200 cal) this afternoon. I had about 10 grapes and that's about it so far.  I will probably have something else to eat before the night is over.

I was going to eat more earlier but my guy made me feel bad...Oh wait, I also had celery with peanut butter.

What I ate

I had some food today that I don't know how to input into the calories counter.  I first had some "raw" cereal made out of walnuts, almonds, dates, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and bananas.  I ate it with almond milk.

I then had salad and split pea soup with yams for lunch.  Then I had 1/2 blueberry/raspberry muffin and a small piece of chocolate mousse cake. 

Finally, I really fucked up and had 1 quesedilla (flour tortilla and cheese) and chips with melted cheese and some orange soda.

I am not very full so I don't think I will be eating any more but its still sad that I fucked up this much.

First day on hydroxycut

Today, I started hydroxycut.  I was told by my partner's brother that it worked really well for him and a friend of his.  He gave me some of his to try.  I took it 30 minutes before I ate breakfast at 8:00.  It is suppose to suppress appetite and increase energy.  However, by 10:00 or so, I was craving so bad!  I had been doing okay before, not great but making progress in the previous weeks.  Today, I started with oatmeal, then two packages of strawberry kellogg's poptarts and then two slices of mushroom pizza and that was all before 12:00 am.  When I got home, I had crashed off of the caffiene and ate a frozen, microwaveable meal.  I don't think I'm hungry, just craving. 

I recently took another one. I hope that I will get some energy to workout later.  Right now, with the ugh weather, I would rather just create blog posts and search online for inspiration.

I will continue to use hydroxycut because I have read a lot of good reviews but I am just hoping that it works at least a little.
