Before After

A LITTLE BETTER TODAY!

Today I was back down to 194.3, which made me feel better.  It might be the meds I've been taking for my medical condition that cause the flucuations.  I'm back on my regular Curves schedule of three times a week too.   My temporary goal is to get to 189.  Thinking of 10 pounds at a time makes it seem easier rather than thinking of it as 40 pounds.

It's getting hot again here in Canada so I may try swimming more.  It's soooo peaceful up here.  I don't want to go back to Florida in October!

Hope everyone is well!

UPS AND DOWNS.

Here in Canada at the lake it rained almost all of the Canada Day long weekend.  I felt bad because the campground was packed and it was really windy on the lake for the boaters.  Hopefully this weekend will be better.

Diet wise, I just don't get it.  My tummy felt all bloated and I went back up to 197.  I need to be nicer to my scale I guess!   I think it hates me.  I KNOW I'm not eating more, but I did walk less because of the rain and I missed Curves because of the holiday.  Oh well, it's almost another week.  Time to just get out even if it's raining.  I doubt if I'll melt!

Going to visit everyone.  See you next week!

NO CHANGES

I don't have much to write about this week but I thought I'd keep in touch.  We had a really hot day this week but it was 55 this morning and will be in the 70's for the long Canadian weekend.   I'm happy for the locals since it's one of the biggest weekends here....like our July 4th.

We went to see Herman's Hermits at a free outdoor concert last week and it was the best concert I've ever been to.  Peter Noone is sooooo funny!  You young folks probably don't know who he is, but those of us who remember the 60's do.    He's pretty spry for an old guy....and he's still cute!

My weight is about the same but I always seem to lose in spurts.  Hopefully next week is spurt week!

FINALLY.....MORE PROGRESS!

I guess my walking and Curves is helping because I went down two more pounds.   I've been taking brisker walks up the hills until I can't breathe anymore....but it seems to be working...lol.   I'm also up to a total of 4 inches off my waist.  I had to take in some of my clothes.......awwww....what a shame.

I'm excited about my weight loss but I may not be able to take all the credit since I can't eat a lot without bloating and feeling miserable due to this condition I have, but I'll take it!

The weather here in Canada has been great since that one or two hot days.  It was 55 last night and a high of 66 today....my kind of weather.  We're going "to town" tonight to a Herman's Hermits outdoor concert.  You young'ns probably don't know who they are....lol.    It should be fun.

Have another great weekend everyone.  See ya'll next week!

GOING DOWN AGAIN....THOUGH SLOWLY.

I bet you're right....it's just water weight! <wink>  I did go down a pound this week but I've been walking up and down these hills, which seem like mountains to someone from Florida!    I'm also going to Curves after I leave the library.    I went back to drinking more water and fewer fruit drinks too.  Lots of sugar and calories in those things.

The weather has been great aand I spend most of my time outdoors up here.  It was 92 last week so we just jumped into the lake, which was cold to me but OK once you were in a few minutes.

Have a great weekend everyone!

CANADA MUST BE FATTENING!

We've been here in Canada since Monday and I finally got on the scale today and found that I gained three pounds.  I can honestly say I was eating very little too.  Maybe it is the lack of exercise so I went and transferred my Curves account up here.  Hopefully that will get me back down and I don't mind going that much.  It's eight miles from us and gas is higher up here so I'll probably only get to go three times a week.  Still, it's better than nothing.

I'll post again whenever I can get to town to use the library's computer.

ALMOST TO CANADA!

Hubby jury rigged our windshield wipers so they work and we left yesterday in the middle of tropical storm Barry.  That little devil is following us north......we haven't seen the sun since we left...just LOTS of rain!  We're in Pennsylvania tonight and tomorrow I'll wave at Missisaga  (sp) when we drive by!

We usually only eat two meals a day on the road....I can't get hubby to stop to eat lunch, though he knows he'd BETTER stop for my potty breaks.....lol.   I order the smaller senior meals when we do eat.  I won't weigh until Tuesday probably.  I hope it's good news.   I can't wait to get to the lake!

TROPICAL STORM BARRY

Well, we leave for Canada in the morning.....with windshield wipers that only work if you push the lever every few minutes.  Of course there's a tropical storm coming tomorrow!  We need the rain...but it could have waited until later this week!

Diet wise, I didn't feel like eating today so hopefully I'll lose more.  I won't weigh on the trip so maybe I'll have a pleasant surprise when we get there!

Wish us luck!

GOOOING DOWN!

My new scale told me my weight is 195.2 this morning!    I just love him/her/it this week....lol.   I love watching that graph go down.  Someone remind me of that if you see it go up!

Hubby decided that we'll leave for Canada tomorrow morning instead of Sunday because we have to pick up a trolling motor he bought on eBay and it's in Pennsylvania.  What a pain!

We got the car back unfixed because they couldn't get the part....but they charged us $267 for some electrical repairs that we didn't even know we needed.  Hubby was upset, needless to say.

I probably won't be posting or weighing while we're on the road so hopefully I'll have a big drop...or I'll have hit one of those dang plateaus and not lose any.  My new scale is going with me!  I'll lean to the positive side....lol.  Talk to ya'll when I get to Canada!

AN AVERAGE DAY.

There's not much to write about today.  The scale showed a loss of  0.1 pounds.....wow....lol.    Better down than up though.  I'm doing pretty good eating wise this week.

I'm officially handicapped now....lol.  I got a handicapped tag for my car.   I won't be able to walk up the hills at the stores where we go in Canada.  Hopefully, we leave early Sunday morning.

I'm babysitting the grandbabies tomorrow night so I can see them before we go.  My five-year old grandson is practicing a break dance he saw on "So You Think You Can Dance" last night.   He's planning on putting on a show for us.  My babies are soooo adorable.
