3rd month
Well, I'm at a roadblock and was wondering when it would happen. Not if...but when. The phentermine started giving me chest pains so I had to stop taking it. I was lifting weights with my husband and doing cardio every other day but then my low back pain snuck up on me again. I'm getting very discouraged! This always happens I feel real good and I'm smooth sailing and then I crash. I have 2 bulging disc in my spine and degenerative disc disease and I don't know a good doctor. I originally went to a surgeon who told me to lose weight, it's easy! LOL! My family practice doctor won't do anything and I just have no clue. Taking OTC pain medicines does nothing and I don't want surgery. Anybody else going through this? If so, what have you done or what did you do?

I went to the doctor again on Friday and found out that I lost 12 more lbs. I'm still not addicted to exercise but I've been more active and I started lifting weights with my husband. I can bench 55 lbs. so far and boy does it hurt in the morning (and for the next four days).

This is the most I have ever lost in my life and I hope I never see those lbs. again!

I went to the doctor and I have lost 12 lbs.

I went from 249 to 237 and I'm so excited because that is the most I've ever lost in a month without feeling like I'm starving to death. I did my measurements today and I've lost inches everywhere but my fave was 4 inches in my waist. I did everything I was suppose to except exercise and this month I'm going to add it. Wish me luck! ~Felicia

New Beginnings!
Today is my 5th day in my weight loss journey. I thought for so long that something was wrong with me because I couldn't lose weight. Yeah, there was something wrong....I was eating too much and didn't have enough energy to move. I always said I would never take a diet pill but I need help and I can't do this all on my own. No matter what I do I can't seem to stop eating. I called around to several weight loss clinics and Doctors and found a Doctor close by that prescribes phentermine and checks up on me every month to make sure I'm okay taking it. I started taking it 2/18/09 and I have never felt better! I don't eat as much and actually have energy to do stuff, like play with my children. I have been in pain a lot and basically just laid on the couch day after day, but the first day I took phen I was all over the place and I even gave my three year old a horsey ride.

I need to lose 99 lbs. and I think I can do it this time. I won't be weighing in every week, instead I'm going to weigh every month when I go for my re-check. I will post again when I know what I weigh.
