Total LOSER!

WOW!  What a total loser I have been!  Unfortunately I don't mean loser as in I have lost weight.  Loser as in I started out with a bang but then fizzled.  In my defense I will say the last few weeks have been really hard on our family.  But we have weathered the storm and I am coming out with a lot of excitement and determination!!
 
Chris' work has an awesome 19,000 sq ft spa & gym.  Since his work is literally 6 minutes away from our house I would be a total moron to not take advantage of it!  I'm really excited!  There are also 8 tennis courts and pools.  So I really have a great thing going now!
We have a clubhouse for the people in our neighborhood that has a small work out room...very small. I have been taking advantage of that, but probably wont much anymore with this wonderful facility right at my fingertips!
 
Our diet is usually really good.  Luckily I am not a snacker.  But I do tend to eat bigger portions just because I don't want food to go to waste.  I am really watching this part of my mealtime.  I am doing really well though.  Cooking smaller amounts of food (hard for an Italian girl!  We cook like we are feeding an army!)
Tonight I made these really yummy individual turkey meatloafs and roasted root vegies.  The meatloaves were measured out in a 1 cup measuring cup and I ate it and am totally full.  Normally I would go in and eat the half one that is left, but haven't been tempted.  Progress! 
 
I plan on checking here daily and holding myself accountable.  I am tired of feeling fat.  Done.  So off to find the "new" me.

Jumping in with both feet....again!

I joined Extrapounds a long time ago.  I don't even remember my log in info, so I am starting all over again! 

As of Tuesday I became a stay at home mom again.  My hope is to get back into shape now that I am not working and commuting crazy hours!  I would get up at 6am, commute almost 2 hours to work, work 6.5 hours sitting on my behind, then drive another 2 hours home.  Not good for the weight department!  Especially the butt!!  But I am free of that now and ready to do some serious work on my body!

I am hoping to lose 50pounds, but I really could stand lose a little more than that.  But, my goal is 50, anything more than that is just icing on the cake!

Please, if you read this blog let me know!  Any kind of encouragement as I take on this task is going to be greatly appreciated.  I already eat the way I should.  I have a great diet, its the fact that I have hypothyroid and PCOSIR that makes weightloss hard.  But they aren't going to win!  I am!
