Before After

Not bad

Well, almost 3 pounds gained in the past 4 weeks isn't bad for 12 weeks pregnant.  I was certain I had gained more this past week on vacation, but praise the Lord, I didn't. :)  I had an official ultrasound this afternoon that puts me at 12 weeks 1 day along, which would make my due date March 9th.  We'll see. :)  DS was a whole week late. :)  All is well here, though still busy.  Now on top of everything else, I'm playing catch up. :)

Hope everyone is great!

Soooo Busy!

Ok, so my husband and I are photographers (after his day job and my mommy duties)... and with the High School Senior Season winding up in our area, we are really busy.  Add to that the wedding we are shooting tomorrow, and I am very busy.  Add to that the fact that I am trying to wrap up EVERYTHING before we leave on vacation next weekend and I'm a little crazed too. :)  Sorry I haven't been around.

I have been doing well though.  Hovering around 190 (actually down to 189 the other day).  I am not trying to loose weight, but if I do gradually lose it for a few more weeks I won't complain.  My doctor's appointment (and hopefully ultrasound) is this coming Tuesday.  Just gotta get there first. :)  Exercise is hard as it has been the hottest all summer this past week.

Hope you are all doing well.

Staying about the same

This is a good thing since I am expecting.  I don't have a Dr.s appointment until Aug 14th... I hate waiting, but I have no choice.  DH and are wondering if I am further along than we thought... I guess we'll find out. :)

Anyway, still in the 191 area.  I'm not worried about a pound here and there fluxuation... just glad not to be climbing. :)

Hope you are all losing well!

News...

Well ladies... I'm pregnant!  I wondered if that may be the cause of my lack of appitite and general not feeling great.  We'll just call it "morning" sickness. :)  Thankfully I have not been "sick" (we'll leave it at that unless you think details will help your diets ) yet.  With my son, I was sick all day everyday for 5 months... then only in the morning for the duration of the pregnancy.  It did help me loose 16 pounds during that pregnancy, but I don't think I'd like to repeat it.  We'll see.

DH and I are very excited, though right now I think we are still trying to take it all in.  (Not expected!)  I keep trying to figure out what this will all look like when "Number 2" arrives in our single wide, 2 bedroom, 1 bath mobile home.  The rocker will have to go to make room for the second crib (DS will only be around 15-16 months).  My eyes just got really big. :)

Anyway, my plan is not to disappear.  I was hoping to get to my goal before learning I'm pregnant, but I know God's plans are better than mine.  Eating right and exercising are just as important, if not more so, now.  Though I will hopefully not be loosing, I will keep you all informed.

New Goal:
--Not to gain any weight during my first trimester!
--Keep exercising 4-5 days a week.
--See measurements continue to go down in areas other than my belly (of coarse this one may be hard if I carry water weight with this one--I was blessed not to with DS.)

Hope your day is great!

Still going... down!

I hate that I haven't been able to check in on many of you (though I do a quick check whenever someone comments).  So much going on and just trying to keep up. :)

I did want to update you all though... I've dropped down to 191.4.  WooHoo!  It's just falling off now isn't it. :)  My exercising has taken a fall a bit too unfortunatelly.  Baby was not feeling well last week and I haven't been feeling well either.  That may actually be helping my weight loss efforts too.  My tummy hasn't been feeling quite righte and my appetite has been low too.  The way I see it though--if I have to not feel well, at least I can lose weigh in the mean time.

Hope you are all well!

Lowest so far!

WI this morning... 193!  I have finally broken the 195 barrier.  We will just have to see if my yo you troubles are gone, or if I am just yoyoing a little broader. :)  For now though I am only encouraged!

Happy Losing!

Thanks for encouragement!

First of all, thanks to all of you for your encouragement!  I am happy to report that I have lost the pound I found last week!  Turns out all that worry was over ONE pound.  Now if only I could start my way down from195 I could really celebrate!

So much to do and so little time to do it... I'm hoping to catch up with you all sometime this week... in the mean time, back to work!

Blessings!

Unmotivated and Afraid!

You'd think I would at least be motivated by the fear, and I guess in a way I am.  I refused to step on the scale this morning... I didn't even want to know.    Yesterday when I did there was a little gain (no suprise there!) and then I proceeded to eat more pizza and cookies last night than I needed to.  Hmmm... and I haven't been walking as much as I was.  I was doing 3.5 miles in a hour, for an hour each morning.  In the last week or so since it got so hot I have fallen out of that habit.  I still walk, but only a mile or mile and a half.  Long term goals are hard... and harder still is that I've been stuck at 195ish for weeks now.  I'll never make my September 27th goal at this rate.

I need to refocus and STOP WHINNING!  (Thanks to GCQMom for that one!)  I think I'll stop everything and do that now... while the baby is still napping!

Hope everyone is having a good day!  Thanks for letting me vent... I already feel a little better!

Maintaining

Still today as I was yesterday.  I've been dealing with muscle and joint aches and pains in the last week or so that I haven't figured the source of yet.  Most unfortunate.  I know some of it is computer related.  As a photographer I spend much time in front of my computer mousing around etc... hard on the wrist and elbow.   I need a new chair that sits me higher.  On my walk this morning I was experiencing some pain in my legs that made me stop early and over the weekend my knees were giving me trouble.  I'm almost 30... is that about the time the body starts falling apart?  I hope not... I would love for this all to be temporary!

So much to do

Well, I haven't been posting in a week, and really I haven't read anyone elses in a few days either.  There is much to be done around here and many mornings I "waste" too much time sitting at the computer before getting into the days projects.  Because of this I am working to spend less time online and more time accomplishing what needs to be done.  I have felt very successful at this but want to keep up with everyone too. :)

Weighed in Friday and thismorning... 195 and 195.2 respectively.  Not bad considering I am expecting TOM and I was not a good camper (food wise).  Yep, we camped this weekend... with a 7 month old. :)  It worked great and we had a great time. :)  And the food was good too. :)  Have a great week!
