Going Strong
I've enjoyed this weekend. I've tried several recipes from a Weight Watcher's Cookbook. All of which was great and will be used again. I also tried a new WW breakfast meal: french toast with turkey sausage. It was a great breakfast, especially since I love to have a "sweet" breakfast on Sundays. Lunch was a simple ham sandwich, and dinner was chicken pasta soup and 1/2 of baked potato. I slipped had a Coke Zero with my sandwich. Tomorrow I'm focusing on no soda. I went 8 months without a soda, but when my family and I went on vacation to Salt Lake I grabbed soda as a quick drink at several restaurants.
I really need to get back to my exercise routine. This is my last week for Christmas break and I schedule some yoga classes on Wednesday and Friday. I also have my aerobics class on Monday and Thursday. Weight Watcher's is Tuesday, so I really post my gain/loss Tuesday night.

A New Year, A New Me!
I have not weighed myself in a couple of days but plan to in the morning. Hopefully, I lost a pound or two.
Today was a great day. I did not feel like eating a heavy breakfast so I settle for Muscle Milk Light with a banana and a teaspoon of almond butter. I snacked on an apple and then for dinner, I fixed a Weight Watcher's recipe for Salmon Cakes and paired with fresh snow peas and half of a bake potato. I drank 80 oz of water. For dessert, to push my points up to 29, I had one cup of mango sorbet.
Now I need to get back on to my exercise regime. I'm finding that hard because I'm a creature of habit. For 180 days I go to work and then go workout. During Summer Break, I still stick to my school schedule to work on materials and everything. But during Christmas Break, I want to lounge around. Especially since it's been cold and snowy. But this week the weather is breaking and I plan to get moving.

My New Year's Resolution!
Of course it's a new year and everyone is making a resolution to lose
weight. I started my resolution over the summer. I wanted to lose a
dress size and not feel terrible about myself in a swimsuit.
I decided to join a local aerobics class.
Ugh! I hated working out, but I knew if I wanted to lose weight I had
to change my habits. I gave up sodas and sweet tea (I have a sweet tea
once a week as a treat; I'm southern and sweet tea is a way of
life!). I also began to count calories and joined my local Weight
Watchers.
By the end of Summer, I had lost ten pounds. I fell in love with
exercising and with new self confidence I joined a local boot camp. As
of December, I lost another ten pounds.
I decided to blog my experience in order to stay focus on weight loss
and stick to a health diet and exercise plan. I'm going to be honest
in this blog. If I slip up, I will write about it. If I'm successful,
I will write about it. I'm going to post my goals, my trials, and my
diet and exercise plan. I'll also post little tidbits that interest me
(such as fashion, which is one of my favorite hobbies.)
So I begin: As of today, I weigh 180.4...................................
