Better Way To Start My Day!
Switched my exercise to first thing in the morning and that is working so much better. It sure makes me feel good that the first thing I do everyday is "the next right thing". Then the workout initiates a thirst that causes me to do "the next right thing" - drink more water. In addition to that the first in the morning workout gives me that emotional lift that I personally need. (I've always been a little on the pesimistic side and most mornings I wake up with discouraged feelings that have no rhyme or reason - just inate I guess) So, all in all it's a good switch-a-roo!!
Keeping the 150's in sight as the end of April creepes up on me. I'm going to push it hard the rest of this month (and especially this week while my brother is here taking care of the folks and I have more time to focus on my wt. goals).

everything I've read
says am workouts are better for the reasons you stated...plus it gets your metabolism going too.
However, I can not get myself out of bed any earlier during the school year....but I promise after June 6 (our last school day)....my big rear will be trotting around The Colony Tx...every other morning!

Good for you
I know that exercise first thing in the morning is suppose to be the best thing for you but that extra cup of coffee just is too tempting. Then I feel like I'm behind in everything and away I go. Of course, being a housewife, there is really no excuse, I'm just procrastinating and avoiding. I don't have to be up and dressed and ready to answer the door incase someone comes over. Yep, avoidance is something that I'm really good at.
I'm so glad that you've overcome it!

I thought I would stop by and say hi. I'm so glad I did. Sounds like you got yourself on to a really good plan for the mornings!! I also like to get the workouts done in the morn. Then I don't have to think about it all day!!
Just want to let you know that your Dad, and family are in my daily prayers. Glad to hear your Brother is in and helping out, which is giving you a much needed break.
I'm still under ther weather, but feeling some what better. I won't be working out for a couple of more days. Still not well enough for that, but I wanted to check on my friends and say hi.
Keep up the Great work, Your going to make your Goal!!!!

Good for you!
Morning workouts set the tone for your day - just like you said! Unfortunately, I can't ever get up early enough to do them. But I'm glad YOU can and that it's working well for you. Keep up the good work! You'll get in those 150s in no time!
