Tuesday
Two down. Three to go. Then, weekend! I have never been so ready for a weekend so early in the week. And it's dragging!
Oiy!
Today's exercise: walk @ mall
All in all, I am happy with how the week is going, other than the speed involved (or lack of LOL).
Picked up an app tonight while walking at the mall. "Spokandy" is hiring LOL!! Just where I need to work, a candy store. But, I need something to supplement, so will do just about anything that will let me work on the weekends.
Hope you are all having a great week so far!

Thinking of Changing My Ending Goal Weight
In case you look at my tracker and see that I am half-way to goal, that's because I have been thinking and praying about changing my goal weight.
According to WW (back in the day), I should be like in the 136-164 range
My doctor is who set the 170 goal, because I told him I thought the WW-range would look like an anorexic tree branch.
Well, I think I am going to be happy with 190. Definitely attainable and maintainable. And, that's key. I mean, sure, I could get to 155 lbs, but I won't be able to maintain that. And, I seriously doubt I could maintain 170 for long. And, I want to be (more of) a runner some day, so I don't know if I will get <much> lower than 190 anyway.
So. I updated my trackers to get a feel for it. Stay tuned. If I change my mind (which I am entitled to as a woman LOL), I'll go right ahead and change it back.
P.s. I took measurements yesterday and lost nothing. I need to do them the 3rd week of the month *before* TOM shows up because I am doing it right in the middle of the retention/bloat week.

Monday's Change of Plan
Sometimes it's about being flexible to change. I "had" leftover pizza planned (for ds) for dinner tonight and I was just gonna do leftover spaghetti bake. Well, he ate the majority of that last night for a snack (teenage boys, gotta love 'em!!) so tonight he got leftovers with me. Means I need to re-plan for another night this week. I'm sure it will be ok. I just need to figure it out before the day gets here. Maybe I'll make that a Subway night because he has his Latin Mass that night anyway.
Today's exercise: WATP Walk and Jog video
I wasn't going to do it. Easy to make excuses. But, I decided I wanted ice cream tonight. Sure, I could eat the ice cream either way, but I told myself: "You want ice cream, gotta do the WATP" LOL!
The more I think about it, the more I *do* think I am going to stick with this video for the month and then if I want a change, I'll do a different one in January.
Hope you all had a great day!! Happy Tuesday!!

Sunday's Exercise
WATP Walk & Jog
I figured if I "have to" maybe I'll do this video all month. Sometimes I get lost in the rotations, ya know? We'll see.... anyway, I got it done tonight, so I am off to a good start for the week.
Happy new day tomorrow!!

Week 3 Thoughts
Ok. Here are the goals/challenges that Gwynn posted for this week. Ready. Set. GO!
1. Make a plan! - Preplan all of your meals this week. Go ahead and write down what you are going to eat in your food journal and stick to it!! Having a plan will keep us on track after Thanksgiving!
Here's how the weeks' menu is starting to shape up:
- Sunday - spaghetti bake (yum!)
- Monday - ds gets leftover pizza
- Tuesday - steak/baked potatoes
- Wednesday - leftovers (spaghetti bake)
- Thursday - chili/cornbread
- Friday -
- Saturday -
2. Inspire yourself! - Search the internet or EP and find someone whose weight loss story inspires you to keep going when times get tough. Be sure to share with the group so we can all be inspired.
Done. See previous post, here again though for ease: http://sponsormyweightloss.com/ P.s. no, I did not sponsor Tracie. I just found her blog at one time surfing the 'net and go back from time-to-time to get encouraged and motivated.
3. Just do it! - Accept no excuses from yourself this week for why you can't exercise. Get in at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 days this week!
Here's my plan, subject to change as needed:
Sunday - jog-o-lean, abs
Monday - WATP Walk & Jog
Tuesday - rock n roller stepper, abs
Wednesday - WATP Walk & Jog
Thursday - night off, ds has "Latin Mass" in the evening
Friday - rock n roller stepper, jog-o-lean
Saturday - WATP Walk & Jog
I was looking at TheStoutSuperStar's page and in her photo album is a picture of her goal board and I'm gonna have to write mine out.
The question: "Where do you want to be: in a week, a month, by summer, in a year and 5 years."
Looks like a good thing to get ready for my Looking Ahead to 2009 post. :O)
However, since we're starting a new week *and* a new month (last call for 2008), here's where I'd like to be:
In a week, I'd like to be at the same weight I posted last week, or lighter
In a month, I'd like to be at the goal I set for end-of-2008: 240 lbs
Anyway. I need to go do my exercise. LOL!! So far, I have spent today doing laundry, dishes and housework to get things in order for the new week. I hope you all enjoyed your long (?) holiday weekend and have a great new week!!

Saturday = WATP
I pulled out my "Walk and Jog" video this morning and walk/jogged with Leslie and friends. I kept telling myself "15 minutes. You can do anything for 15 minutes." So I was going to stop after 15 minutes and when I got there, I decided I could finish the workout. It's *only* about a 30 minute video. And I am proud of myself!
After that, I walked to Rite Aid and got some wrapping paper (on sale for $.77) and tape (3 pack on sale for $.99).
How exciting!! More exercise completed.
Right now, it's not doing anything (aka rain or snow). We were supposed to get 1-3" yesterday and we may have gotten them, but it warmed up a tiny bit, so what remains is a little slush on the sidewalks and stuff.
Hope you are all having a great day!!

Oh.My.Gosh! Look at the picture!!
I found a website last night (www.weightview.com) and uploaded my current stats photo and they do a simulation to show you what you would look like 10-20-50 lbs lighter, so I had it simulate 50 lbs more gone and can you say WOW!!
That was really cool, because I have been <farting off> here for the past 3 months and think that really helped rev me for the remainder of this year and into 2009's goals!!
It's free and takes 24-48 hrs for them to do the simulation, but mine was just a case of overnight. You outta try it!!

And then there was TOM!
Yup. I knew it. Glad I weighed-in yesterday for this week cuz it brought a couple of pounds of bloat, etc. YUK!
Yesterday's eating wasn't really "bad" per se unless you count the fact that we (me and sons) ate an entire bag of Cool Ranch Doritos in almost one sitting LOL!! Seriously. I got a small bowl with a handful and they dove into it too and then kept refilling the little bowl until the entire bag was gone. So much for portion control.
Next time, I'll tell them to get their own and stay out of mine. I can experience moderation at times, ya know?
The duck pond is at a place called Manito Park here in Spokane and that is where our Turkey Trot began yesterday. I wish I knew about it ahead of time, I'd have gone. Pshhhhhhh!! Oh well.
Last night we went and rented some videos for the weekend, so we've got entertainment covered.
It's snowing again today, so I really do need to muster up the courage to going to Wally World for a shovel and de-icer - I broke my shovel last winter, so it needs replaced. Nothing's really sticking yet, just covering the grass, etc. It'll be interesting to see how long it snows, etc.
Glad you all had a happy holiday yesterday - happy weekend!!
