another day

well I have added a small plan of excersize.  Started walking the dogs on a brisk speed.  I am trying to add walking whenever possible, including the steps in our home.  I am making extra trips up and down, just to add a few more calories burned.

Almost 2 more pounds lost.  YEA

Small progress

Well I weighed in today and was a little disappointed in the results.  I only lost one pound.  But then again I haven't done much other than cutting calories.  I will be adding the excersize this week, so hope to see better results.  But if I keep losing one pound a week, I shouuld still be able to reach my goal in time.  I plan on having all 16 pounds off by the time my first grandbaby arrives in June.  I am still working on the water thing as well. Baby steps! better than no steps, I guess.

One day at a time

Well the week has been good for me so far.  I am so proud of myself for not touching a single valentine chocolate (2 boxes sitting here teasing me).  No cake or cupcakes that my daughter has made.  All my snacks have been fruits!  Big step for me, as I love salty and I love sweets!  I haven't had a single scoop of ice cream for a solid week now.  It hasn't even been hard, I just reach in the fridge and grab a handful of grapes and I'm happy.

Water is my big problem, I know I need to drink it but I just don't like it!  It's so so so .......BORING.  I am going to work on that, so that will be my next goal.

Excersize is the next problem.  I just don't do it.  I always have good intentions but they fly out the door the minute it's time to do it.  I have gotten Tae Bo for beginners so will start that, and then I used to enjoy doing sweatin to the oldies so I will start that as well.  Then walking will be on my daily plan also.

So these are my immediate goals to help me reach the ultimate goal.  And that is to fit into my clothes once again, without fat hanging out!

Fight to loose

I plan to track my fight to loose the extra weight that has found it's way to me. 

My begining plan has been to adjust my eating habits.  I have become such a pig, having seconds and thirds, and lathering on butter.  Time to put a stop to that!  2 and 3 scoops of ice cream with chocolate AND carmel topping.  Now I am not going to give up my goodies completly but I believe cutting back to one scoop and maybe just one topping (in moderation) should make a big impact on my daily intake.
