Playing around!
I have been playing around with this web site--what a cool way to keep track of my progress, and meet other folks trying to lose weight too!
This week has been good food-wise, with the exception of one night when I ate way too much vegetarian chinese food. Oh well, at least it wasn't pizza or something. I still haven't exercised though. I am planning to attend a strength training class with a co-worker on Tuesday. I was supposed to go last Tuesday, but I bailed. This week, though, I really really should go, at the risk of being embarrassed by my red-and-sweatiness. Why do I dislike perspiring so much?!
Weigh in is Monday...I hope I break 220!

YOU'VE MADE AWESOME PROGRESS!
I'm so impressed! I had to come visit after your kind comment in my journal. We're at similar points in our journey, and yes I'm enjoying JC but I think you guys in the States have better choices than they give us in Australila. Perhaps it's because I'm an American living down under, I don't necessarily share the same tastes as others here. Ah well.
As for exercise, I know how hard it is to get started ... but I just made myself do it. Now I love it, and don't feel good if I have to miss it. I'm not a "gym rat" at all, have never liked conventional gyms. I used to work at the YMCA years ago and got a free membership, and I still wouldn't go. So now I'm a Curves fanatic. It's different, give it a try! What amazed me most is even weeks when I'd not lose much weight, I'd be dropping inches, so I know I'm losing fat even though the scale may not show it. Muscle weighs more than fat. Working out builds muscle, and that raises your metabolism, so it's a real win/win situation. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do.
