I'm on a mission.
This past week sucked the big wazoo, as was reflected in my weigh-in. I'm not even saying what it was. I weigh in again on Saturday, and I'll fill in the blanks then. I have renewed motivation though...
DH and I have been trying for 5 years to conceive. I am starting my first in vitro cycle this month, and the lower my BMI, the better chance I have of a healthy pregnancy. Before JC, my BMI was waaaaaay too high for the procedure. Now, I am comfortably within the BMI range. Nonetheless, I still need to shed as many pounds as possible! My doc said I can stay on JC while preggers if we are successful, only at 1800 instead of 1500. That is a relief, because without structure, I could gain a ton over 9 months!!!
Ladies, gents, please send me all the good vibes you can muster.

OH COOL!
SO if you get pregnant you can do 1800 calories? That's awesome!! I didn't know you could still JC! Well, that is totally encouraging!

Great healthy vibes pregnancy for you!! (or, as one of my best friends used to chant-- "My uterus is made of super glue!" ) I was overweight through both of my pregnancies, so I really admire you for intending to stick with JC. I'm not sure I could have done that. I was diabetic both times, so I had to follow some diet, but not as strict calorie wise.
Thanks for the kind words, too. I'm working on things (although those chips & salsa ...and beer... I had last night were not exactly JC approved!)

Good luck!
I know that it can be a long, hard battle...my sister tried for 15 years but in the end she had two beautiful boys (twins) by in vitro.
