Face'in my demon...the elliptical
Day 1 almost completed on WW.
i can't say that it was easy per say....i was staving through out the morning and thank God i had some cut up apples and was able to snack on until lunch. i had oats for breakfast and a banana around 10:00 and then the apples through out the morning and even then i could have sat down to a full course mean!
its not a hard plan to follow and actually gives you a generous amount to eat w/ many many options to be able to eat what you want. that's where i need to work on my plan.....anyone who knows me knows "i need a plan" and i'm use to having protein for breakfast and i think that's where the hunger came from this morning.
sooooo......at lunch i ate on tuna on wheat and went then went to the dollar store and bought a bunch of sandwich, freezer, and snack sized ziplocks. my plan is to make up pre-made baggies of food w/ point amount values. my daughter loved this idea...that made me happy...=)
then the next task....i looked at the treadmill ....hmmm.... do i stroll or fially face my demon in the family room.... "the elliptical" i have been so out of shape that 2-3 minutes max is all i could ever stand to do. "what a WHIMP!!" sooooooo...... i hopped on and yeah 2-3 minutes rolled around and my legs were already feeling it but i didn't stop this time...i came to a position where my feet were level and gave myself a few seconds and started again....2-3 more minutes and my thighs feeling the burn and i went back to the resting position...then started again...and i just kept going like that for about 20 minutes or so...at least until my legs felt like rubber and really needed to stop....and i even got up my heart rate, maybe not to target but it was pounding like a cheering squad.....GO GO GO!!!! =)
well its a start...well another start ....=) i know i wouldn't be ready for this WW journey if i hadn't already been working on portion size and eating healthier and getting more activity and exercise into my life. and my daughter wanting to do this is a huge motivator for me too!
