          thanks for the comments...=)  keep them coming!!! it really motivates me and feeling like i might be helping others as well as commenting  on blogs makes me feel really good which helps keep my spirits up and my mind focused!
 
         it seems all this veggie talk has sparked a craving to actually eat them. i haven't yet!...lol but i am thinking about it, steaming, grilling, a stir fry in olive oil spray and wanting to experiment w/ seasonings....  ..can you believe this is me talking!!!!!! or this was sparked from a new cooking reality show that was on tonight where chefs from all walks of life are competing against each other for what ever the prize is?? but where ever this feeling is coming from i hope this craving to eat healthier stays w/ me...=)
 
          tonight my favorite reality tv show came back on...."The Biggest Loser"... i love that freakin show!! i just love to watch them get on the scale and i try to compare myself to their body shape and then when they lose i think that could be me!!! i get all excited and i tear up at their stories and accomplishments...and it makes me wanna succeed too!! i just have to keep feeding myself w/ what ever it is that motivates me, here, tv, books, others stories, what ever it takes to change my life!! 
 
             one more thing!!!!  i drank ALL my 64 ozs. of water today!!!!  =) that's like eating veggies to me here lately...lol  well i hope everyone is doing great !!! =)

YAY about the water, and very cool about the veggies! I definitely find that keeping this blog (and all that comes with it) is keeping me focused...it reminds me  what I'm doing, because I so often forget!

I've never seen The Biggest Loser - we don't buy TV right now - but it sounds like an inspiration the way I read about it here.  What kind of time period does the show cover? How many pounds to people lose from beginning to end? Do they show their cholesterol counts and blood pressure and all that stuff changing too? I'm so curious now!

veggie suggestion

Try this--it's what I eat about twice a week. I make thin slices of zucchini or yellow squash and saute them  at high heat with olive oil spray. Saute them about 5 min until they get soft. Then I sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on top. Yummy!

Your comment explained a lot more then the dr did!! She did tell me to watch for abcesses. She set up an appt to fix them in two weeks.  She just sealed them with something for now.

I am soo proud of you!! I used to be the same way about water...now its all I drink!!!  It just takes time!  Keep up the good work!
