Phentermine Week 2 Day 3

Well I'm not losing as fast as I did last time but I'm down exactly 5 pounds since I started, so at least it's something. I have been going by what myfitnesspal.com has been suggesting as my daily calories consumption but I went off track for 2 days and lost a lot. So apparently 1250 calories puts my body in starvation mode or something because I wasn't losing at all. That's all for now. Just wanted to do a short little update. Wish me luck!!

Where have I been???

Wow I haven't been on my blog in FOREVER! I've been updating my weight this entire time but haven't updated anything on here. Nothing is really new. I haven't gained any weight but I hadn't lost any either. I quit Phentermine at the end of March because my work schedule was crazy and I couldn't get to a doctor's appointment. My schedule is good now so I went back Friday. He started me back on Phentermine. I started them as soon as I got out to my car. It's technically Sunday so I guess it's day 3. I was reading through my old blogs and became excited because of how much I lost last time and was able to keep it off. The doctor prescribed a 3 month perscription, which he's never done before, and told me I should be down 20 pounds before I come back in December. I entered my measurements in here which I didn't do last time so that'll be cool to track too. I tried to start Couch 2 5K back up this week. I got day 1 done and it's rained everyday...all day since. So I'm going to continue with that and tracking my calories.

Phentermine 37.5mg 1 1/2 each day
1250 calories a day
Couch 2 5K
I will add some strength training once I get this down.

Lost 20lbs in 1 month!! :)

Today has been 1 month since I began Phentermine. I've lost exactly 20 pounds. I'm not expecting to lose 20 more in the next month because you usually lose the most your first month. I have my doctor's appointment tomorrow to see how I'm progressing and see if they want to keep me on Phen or switch me over to something else. I'm satisfied with my results so far. Heck, I probably would've been satisfied with losing just 10 pounds. It was a rough month and I think I could've lost more but with the snow and getting sick....it just didn't happen as much as I wanted. I'm excited to see how much this product will help me lose.
 
 

Phentermine Week 3 Day 3

12.6!!! Yep, I've lost 12.6 pounds in 3 weeks and 3 days.  My pants are starting to get loose!! I didn't realize it until a few days ago when I was walking through Walmart and kept having to pull them up. Looking in the mirror I haven't been able to see a difference and I don't think anyone else can either but at least the numbers are going down. This is short but I thought I'd update you all as to how I was doing. I hope you all have a great weekend!
 
 
 

Phentermine Week 2 Day 4

Well it's been a week and a half and I'm down 8.8 pounds. I think I could've lost more but this week has been iNsAnE! We were victims of the huge snow storm that rolled through here. Yes, I chose the work victim :) My eating and sleeping was WAY off for about 3 days due to the snow. I had to work 14 hours due to no one being able to come in during day shift to relieve us and I didn't eat the entire time. Then my sleep has been all messed up. I know I wasn't drinking enough water. I think one day I didn't even take any pills. Yeah...it's been crazy. Today I'm trying to get it all back on track. I was able to take both my pills today and my eating has been on track. I've definitely gotten plenty of exercise...that's for sure. I've been shoveling snow for the past 4 days. I think we're done for right now. Suppose to get more snow tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In all we got 19 inches of snow in one day. It's been hell. Might do some ab exercises today. Definitely been working my arms....dang they're sore from lifting all that snow. This entire post might not even make sense because im so stressed and tired right now. I figured I needed to post something to update you guys on my progress since it's been about a week. I will post more once this all settles down and I can get my thoughts together.

Phentermine Week 1 Day 4

4.4 pounds down!! Woke up this morning and weighed myself for the first time since my doctor's visit on Wednesday. This is really exciting since I haven't done anything different from the usual except taking the pills and drinking a ton of water. Today begins the diet and exercise portion.
 
My diet consists of 1200 calories a day, 30 grams of carbs a day, and take a multi vitamin.
 
Exercise consists of 3-5 times a week for 30-45 minutes.
 
Doesn't seem too harsh. I think the first couple of weeks I'm just going to work out 3 times a week so I don't burn myself out too soon. I have a gym at work so that helps out a ton. It's just getting myself to actually workout after being there for 12 hours.

Phentermine

Yesterday I had an appointment with a weight loss doctor. I was prescribed Phentermine, given a food plan to go by, and was instructed on how much exercise I need to be getting per week until my next appointment in a month. I'm extremely excited about this. I started the pills yesterday and they make you feel a little funny but wOw they really work. The side affects I've experienced so far are dry mouth, feeling full, and lots of energy. I don't think any of those are negative. Dry mouth- helps me drink the amount of water I'm suppose to drink each day. Feeling full- I ate 2 pieces of pizza and I felt like I ate an entire large. Energy- my favorite part. My excuse would be that I was too tired to work out or I would just lay around all day. I did sooo much house work yesterday it was insane. My doctor told me to just take the pills until Saturday and then I can add the exercise and the diet plan. All of that at once would be too much and would possibly cause me to give up. Hense...the pizza :) Like I said, I go back in a month and I'm excited to see how much I end up losing. She also measured my waist and hips too so hopefully some inches off there. This also makes me feel accountable. I gotta lose something before I go back or I'm pretty much wasting my money. I updated all of my trackers as well. I'm gonna weigh myself for the first time Saturday before I start the diet and exercise to see if I lost anything with just the pills. That's all for now.... everyone have a great day!!
