New approach to staying on course

I have to say my new approach to weight loss seems to be working.  You would think that some one from a sports background would have no problem getting back into the gym. Well the truth is it isnt that easy at all. I found my self getting upset and I wasnt working nearly as hard as I should , this went on for at least 3-4 months. I recently found new movitation, Every time I go to the gym to work out I try to set a goal and by the time I leave I try to make my goal or break my goal. I always make do able goals that way i can stay postive. Being postive is the key, if you are like me you  have alot of weight to lose so you set a large goal to lose alot of weight. You go to the gym a few days a week when your there you look into the mirror only to see your self looking the same. This can definitly kill the movitation. So I have decided to do smaller goals like I was saying earlier. Everyday I come I can see my self getting faster, stronger, because of this Im feeling much better and I'm starting to lose weight. Im pushing my self more and more I now look forward to going into the gym.  So, start small like running for 2-5mins longer everyday you come-in or try burning 50 more calories on the bike believe me it works.

Life Changes

I have been attempting to lose weight since last june 05. I have had nothing but failed attempts. I have actually gone up 65 pounds since then. Its crazy to think how much i have gain in such a short period of time. If you would have seen me 3yrs ago you more then likely wouldnt belive you eyes. Every day when I look in the mirror I cant belive what I see. My lifestyle to the way i think and present myself has changed since gaining the extra pounds. I feel I have become more negative to life, and everything around it. I have recently decided to make a change. I want to be the person I was 2-3yrs ago. I started back a the gym, changed my eating habits, started playing sports on the weekends. My life is changing from the inside-out. I had a very active life and I perform well in every sport I played, well except tennis which I'm learning to play now.  I made a goal and i have always reached my goals in the past so here we go.
