I want to see a loss!

I have NOT been weighing daily.. In fact, I have not weighed since Monday (when the hospital scales put me at 224... I suppose I should update my info ). I have been doing as good as possible since Wednesday (Tuesday, I did horrible!) on eating, though I still have not added the exercise I would like to add.

I am waiting to weigh until next Monday or Tuesday. I really want to see a loss!  

Y'know, it annoys me...

...that the food log on here doesn't let me do a half-amount. I had a little batter from a cake I was making for a friend's birthday, and there was no way to put it in the food log, so I had to put in a whole ounce of cake. I suppose, though, that overestimating is better than underestimating. That will mean less calorie intake overall if I stop before the number gets too high.  

Today

Did pretty good today... keeping track really helps a lot! That is, for eating.

I still didn't exercise, though.

(Oops, missed the weekend)

Ok, so I did TERRIBLE on the 3rd week!

However! I have new incentive to do good. TWO new incentives.

1. A message board to which I belong is doing a "Biggest Loser" contest and the winner gets cash.

2. I signed up for Scale Back Alabama and the winning team gets $1000 EACH... which is HUGE incentive!!

I did well yesterday, and have a good start on today. I need to get in some good exercise, but by the end of this 8 weeks (the Scale Back contest is 8 weeks) I intend to weigh a LOT less!  

Weekend Update 2

Well. I avoided sweets 4 out of 7 days.
I made a menu, and followed it.
I walked one day.
I went swimming one day.
I drank lots of water all week.

I'll weigh in the morning, since afternoon weighs are *always* higher

Weekend Update

Well, my first week didn't go so well. I didn't avoid sweets on *any* day, much less 5/7 of the days.

I didn't walk. At all. I *meant* to... but my baby (1) had fever 3 days of that.

I DID go swim once.

And I DID drink the water.

So, 50% of my goals, maybe? But no weight loss.  

GOALS for 2007

1. Walk at least 3x a week, at least 1 mile.
Preferred level: 5x a week, 3-5 miles each.

2. Limit sweets to 2x a week.

3. Do healthy, sensible meal menus and stick with them as much as possible.

4. Drink at least one half-gallon of water daily.

5. Swim at least once a week.

Ok, then!

Coming up on a new year... new goals!!

I'll post when I figure out what they are

So far, not so good.

I haven't been walking... and haven't been eating properly, either. Ugh.

But, it's a new week.  

Furthermore...

We went to a Block Party in Cleveland, TN today. We walked a good bit there (while collecting candy ... )

After leaving there, we went to their local mall and walked some more.

I definitely got in my exercise today!
