Before After

Wow! Didn’t expect that

Week 2 and I stepped on the scales this morning with the hope that I’d managed to lose 2lb.  I had my doubts as its TOM.  I nearly fell of the scales when I did my double take – 5lb?  5lb?  FIVE POUNDS!  Woohoo!  She shoots, she scores *runs around with t-shirt over head waving her arms*  I ate so well last week, I really did have those ‘surely-I-can’t-eat-this-much-and-lose-weight’ moments.  Wow.

So, to the menu planning for this week:

Monday – lunch: shop-bought soup (yawn)

Dinner: Smoked Cod Gratin

Tuesday – lunch: SCG leftovers

Dinner:  Spicy Turkey Bolognese and pasta

Wednesday – lunch:  STB leftovers

Dinner:  Kofta Curry (can’t wait!)

Thursday – lunch: KC leftovers

Dinner:  Salmon Fish Cakes with SW chips and homemade salsa

Friday – lunch: SFC leftovers

Dinner: Mystery Meal at friend’s (she’s doing SW so should be ok)

Good job I find cooking really relaxing on an evening!  Cooking from scratch really gives me a sense of achievement, especially when I know its all ‘good’.

So, I’m in Tescos at the weekend and I hear these really loud men yakking about the shopping, obviously looking for something they’re yet to find and I hear, ‘Excuse me!’.  I stop.  ‘Excuse me!’  I turn.  There are two of them, men that is.  The guy who has summoned me then asks, ‘Do you know where the milk is?’  Nothing strange about this question.  However, what makes me laugh all the way out of the shop is the fact that (1) his question is followed by ‘You know, milk.’ with a hand gesture for, what I presume, is milking a cows udder but could quite easily be mistaken for something less innocent and then (2) the fact that he actually thought he had to explain what milk was.  I wonder if he thought I speaky no eengleesh!

Well, that’s it from me.  I hope you guys are all doing well x x
