Before After

Back to normal

Arh *sighs and visibly relaxes*.  Well, after my week with a sad dog, I’m really pleased to report that my parent’s wayward dog is back with my parents.  They miss him and want to give it another try – much to my relief.  My dog was trying to give him what for at every opportunity – dirty old t’ing!

Weight-wise I’m doing okay, despite the 2lb gain this week.  This was not unexpected as my mum and I had an apple bake-off on Saturday so pies and cake were the order for the whole weekend – despite giving most of them away!  I kind of had a small food victory on Saturday night.  I bought a tub of Baileys Haagen-Daz to go with my caramelised apple cake.  Now, I didn’t manage to keep my scoffage to one portion but I didn’t eat the whole tub.  This was doubly surprising as my freezer is in the repair shop so I actually let half the tub go to waste.  That said, I didn’t even want to keep eating it – it just wasn’t worth it.  It didn’t taste as nice as I am feeling.  All in all a 2lb gain wasn’t too bad as I thought it’d be more.

This week, so far so good.  I’ve got into a habit of making a big batch of soup on a Monday night after I’ve been to SW.  This gives me my lunchies for the majority of the week and its cheap.  I had a weird concoction for my tea last night – curry super noodles (4 syns), salmon fillet and cheddar cheese.  Sounds really gross but I love it.  This evening I made a cheese and broccoli pasta bake – it was yummy and a syn free SW recipe – bonus!  I’ve made enough to feed the 5,000 so I’m sorted for lunch – might take some in for my friend at work, it’ll go to waste otherwise I’m sure.

Tomorrow night is a bit of a pain – got a leaving do at a thai restaurant and they do *the* most amazing rich, decadent chocolate dessert in the world.  I want some.  I haven’t made my mind up as to whether I’ll indulge or not – see how I feel tomorrow night.  I always apply the ‘have what I want’ rule when I eat out.  It maintains some normality and doesn’t make me feel like I’m missing out or ‘on a diet’.  Decisions, decisions!

Well, I *must* do my roots some time this week.  I look like Bride of Frankenstein with a big grey streak – OLD.  So, L’Oreal No. 3 Brasilia, looks like me and thee have a date this week.  Actually, speaking of OLD, I found a frikkin grey eyebrow!  No, scratch that, it wasn’t grey it was out and out WHITE!  WTF man?  Bah!

Hmmmm, right, suppose I better nash off and do something with my evening.  Have good ones x x

Drooling here about the apple pie-a-thon. Well done with the Bailey's...that would have been long gone if t'were me. Hi five!

AND weirdly enough...you're talking about L'Oreal hairdye, and the secret word is "laureole". Ha, go EP!

*drool*

Yep, I'm drooling too..... but think you are very sensible to eat what you like when out. I do the same, even when I'm being really good... it's important to have that sense of normality (and that's coming from an all or nothing girl!)
