Feeling sad today

Hello there.  Well, how bad have I been at updating this blog lately.  I got on a bit of a roll before I went on holiday and since I got back, I’ve been a lazy old moose!  That’s not to say I haven’t thought about blogging, I have, I just haven’t.  So, here I am.

 

Okay, so to the title of my post.  I am feeling really sad.  I’ve just rehomed one of my parent’s dogs because *gulp* he was biting my dad.  But, I just keep looking at him and thinking ‘but he’s my mam and dad’s dog’ (I’m welling up as I type) and then I attribute human feelings to him in that he’s all sad at not being at home and he’s being pestered by my horndog of a dog.  And, pretty much getting all upset.  Argh!  I don’t like it.  The truth of the matter is he’s a bit of a nervous nelly of a dog and we just don’t know where the aggression towards my dad has come from.  We’ve had a behaviourist in but to be honest my dad is old school and won’t listen to the ramblings of a dog psychiatrist.  Right *shakes head* - gotta snap out of it.  Can’t be doing this to myself.

 

Okay, so to my weight loss.  Whoopee!  I have got a half pound to go and I’ve lost my first stone with SW - although my scales actually show a weight loss of 1st 5lb (go figure).  I am really pleased about that.  Plus, I’m finding the diet really, really easy to stick to.  I’m never hungry, I don’t have to faff about with weighing and measuring stuff and I’ve pretty much enjoyed everything that I’ve had to eat so far.  This weekend has had a couple of naughties – namely, some thick chocolate moussey thingy from Sainsbury’s on Friday night and some Aunt Bessie’s Syrup Sponge and custard today after lunch!  Hopefully, that won’t have cost me my half pound!  Eek!

 

So, food I have planned for this week are:  Sausage Casserole, Bacon Pasta Carbonara-thingy and a SW Bacon and something quiche.  Should keep me going.  Looking forward to all three too.  Yummy!

 

Okay, so that’s it from me from now.  I will try to return more regularly and stop being such a lazy mare.  I hope you guys are all well and having fun.  Take care x x
