The lowest I've been in over a decade!

Almost 100 lbs gone.  I passed the hump, and yet I still have about 60 lbs to lose.  30 lbs just till i am no longer obese.  I'm not unhappy about this, and given the short time it has taken me to get here, I should not be frustrated at all! But... Its still another 60 lbs - and thats just to get to the top of my normal body weight.  If... WHEN I get there, I will see if it is reasonable to lose any more.

Carbs ARE bad!

Rather than giving my reasons for a Low Carb Way Of Life (this is forever, not just to lose weight), I'm adding some links - do your own research - when you are done, if you still disagree - perhaps we can talk.

50 lbs Down

104 lbs to go.

I've been exercising a lot this month.  Mostly Callanetics and Exercise ball. Trying to get at least an hour in every day.  DD seems to be helping with that. She keeps asking to go exercise downstairs, everyday!  I can't say no.

Physically, I'm feeling lighter, but i'm obviously still very much obese.  Strange how losing so much weight makes me feel so much lighter... but the reflection in the mirror isn't returning the same feeling.

I've managed to stay on plan the entire time since starting this way of life.  I'm probably even better at it now than when I started... thinking of all those sugar and carb poisons I kept putting into my body.  NEVER AGAIN!  This isn't just about losing weight.  It's about getting healthy.  Being there for my kids.  I wish I had started sooner... or better yet, not stopped and messed up three years ago.

However, even with the above statement... of it not being JUST about losing weight... a lot of it is!  The numbers on the scale and on the measuring tape really make everything worth while in the end.  I'm just hoping that the next 50 lbs go easy too.

The plan for this month

I have already started exercising, a couple of days on the treadmill and three days a week Callanetics.  They both seem to be having an amazing effect on my body.  I have already noticed the difference.

Still maintaining my diet, sort of.  I am trying to stick to the menu, but am having a hard time fitting in the three meals each day.  I am definitely trying to get in about 120 oz of water a day.  I will continue to keep up with water intake and try to stick to  the three meals a day.

As of tomorrow, I will be adding CLA/GLA and Omega-3 (still need to buy the omega-3), and will continue with Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil as my main fat source as well as adding an ounce of Apple Cider Vinegar to my water a couple of times a day.

So far, almost 50 lbs lost.  I would have liked to have hit 50 today, but I had a slight stall this past week.  I hope that the exercise and CLA/GLA combo will help speed up and catch up to where I want to be in my weight loss.

Starting Out - Not actually the beginning.

I have been low carbing Greysheet style since Halloween 2009.  Up until mid december it went off quickly.  The weight loss has slowed down somewhat, but it seems that as long as I stick to three meals a day and drink all my water, the weight still does come off.

I am also including a few healthy things in my diet, to fight, what I suspect, Candida.  I am including in my diet to Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and Apple Cider Vinegar.  I am looking to add either grapefruit seed extract or oil of oregano.
