EWWW!!!
I tend to say to much or I tend to tell people way too much information when it comes to certain things. I bought the Alli pill, 90 pill starter set. I read everything. I never in my life watched what I ate like I did when taking this pill. Frankly, it scared the hell out of me because I didn't want to shit my self. I gave up my much loved Ranch Dressing, and chesse. Never in my life would I believe there was that much grams of fat in chesse. I never looked at how much calories or grams of fat where in anything and now I am too scared not too.
Well the side affects are real, and it happened to me. I did nothing to make it happened, it just happened on its own. I know it says that if you eat something with too much fat in it , it will happened, well I can honestly say I did not. I didn't even know it. What if I would have been out at the store or something? Omg.

thanks, I had wondered
thanks for the info. I thought about the alli pill but was afraid of the side effects. did you get any warning it was about to happen?
think I'll avoid that pill for now. I tend to forget to check for fat grams/content.
sorry about your unpleasant experience. are you going to keep taking alli?
good luck & best wishes

Told ya...
I am so sorry you had an... well, unpleasant is the best word I can think of... experience with the Alli. You REALLY have to be careful! Fat is hidden in just about everything these days, and you really have to become a "fat nazi" (somehow that doesn't sound right, but you get my meaning, don't you?) in order to avoid the, uh, unwanted leakage. But that's how it works, remember? If you don't take in fat, you don't, uh, let out fat. If you don't take in fat, you don't store that fat in your body. I wouldn't give up on it just yet, though. Hang on to your supply and come back to it when you are ready. Perhaps you can start a food diary and try cutting out a few high-fat things at a time, or find good (and good tasting) substitutes that won't interfere with the Alli. Just don't give up!

Oh my gosh!!
How awful. From your story, it sounds like you were lucky and it happened at home. But really no warning at all? Just aware that there is something not pleasant going on? Oh man! That is enough to completely remove the option of using that pill!

been there, done that
Way back when... what , 7 years now? I tried xenical (which is double the strenght of alli) and had very unpleasant side effects even when I really watched my diet.
I was disappointed when I started seeing adds on tv for alli that made it sound like a miracle pill. I didn't hear the adds really talk about the nasty side effects. cramps, leakage, etc.
The only good thing I can say about that pill? It really does make you read labels and look at the fat content of food.
Wishing you the best if you decide to keep using it.

Hmm
I dont think that will happen again. I took xenical as well. I didnt ever have a crazy experience with that. And Alli hasnt done me wrong either. I would say it was a rare thing. Nothing has happened bad to me yet. I mean, I can tell there are differences from normal sometimes. but, yea.
Just sharing, trying to give, you know, another woman's experience to ya.
Anyways, that sucks and Im glad that you had a better day today. woo hoo! Your pictures are really cute, too.
