Flab

I spent 20 mins (5 miles)  on the bike. I am a little sore right now, then I did 10 mins on my  yoga ball doing sit ups. Thank God for that ball other wise I would not be able to do sit ups at all. I really need to start working on the way I eat. I was thinking about doing the My Alli Pill but I don't know about the side effects.

I've noticed that I am very flabby, Will I be able to tone it? My wrost fear is that I am going to have to get it removed and I in no way do not want that. It looks painfull.

Emily Elizabeth is 5 months old and she is doing so well her big brother Shawn Austin is doing well too. He is in the 2 year old stage.

My short term goal is to lose 10 pounds my long term goal is too lose 120.

Alli

The side effects of Alli are just what makes it work.  If you eat fat or anything that turns to fat in your body, the fat will come out.  Period.  If you eat a little fat, it isn't so bad.  If you eat a lot of fat, you could wake up with soiled sheets, or you could soil yourself.  Alli (and its prescription-only version, Xenical) works by making you afraid of fat.  After all, you won't have to worry about soiling yourself if you don't eat fat (and thus it doesn't come out).  If you don't eat fat, you are less likely to gain weight, and you are more likely to lose.  Simple stuff, really.  Some people complain of cramps or gas, but it usually isn't serious.  (No, I haven't taken it, but I have a degree in Pharmacy, so I know a bit about it)

Just keep watching what you eat and exercising when you can.  I know it's tough with kids (I have 3 boys), but you must do it for yourself.  You will feel much better in the long run.

Take care!

Hi There!

I saw that you stopped by the Singles support group. WELCOME!

I've never tried Alli because I actually do well on making sure I watch the fat intake. I figure it really wont work for me. I over do it/overeat, but really I overdo it more on carbs not fats!
What's worked for me is planning out my meals AND snacks. In the beginning, or when I want a good weightloss push, I will log my calories( I like the dietfacts.com website, for some reason the EP food counter bothers me!)

Also, I had a breast reduction when I was 23 and can tell you more about it if you have questions or want to know!

See you around the singles group
