Gastric Bypass

I haven't been on here in a long long time. I am up to 284  and in September I was told by my doctor that he thinks I should get gastric bypass surgery because I tried everything in the book with him and so I had a hell of a time looking for a place that did it and took my insurance. I finally finished all my test and my surgery is on May 5th.

I am getting very nervos.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Still sick

I just cant seem to shake off this sickness, my stomach is killing me. Its been over a week. Its as if this past week never happened. I couldn't open my eyes long enough to know who I even was. It was bad. I tried to excersize today and after 20 mins I just couldn't do it anymore. I haven't been taking my pills because I don't want it to affect my stomach anymore. I'd just die if it got any more painful. I was 280 when I started all this, this morning I was 259. I am so excited it. Its been a little over a month.

Sick

I've beeen sick the past few days. I couldn't get out of bed, except to run to the bath room. I never slept that long in my life, I've slept the whole day and night. I ate chesse because the past 3 days I've only had like 1500 calories and I knew if I had cheese it would stay down and give me some energy.

Weigh in

I lost 6 pounds from last Thursday.

I went to the doctors this morning and told them it wasn't helping me so she gave me a pill to take at night. We'll see.

Day 7

Tomorrow is my second appointment with the doctor, my first weight in. I am scared I didn't lose any weight. I worked my butt off.

Day six

The more I think about it, the more the doctor I see for weight control seems like a fake. I've been taking what I thought was Phentermine 37.5, I don't know maybe it is, I just don't understand why they give it to me with out a script and why does it have the doctors name imprinted on the side of the pill, It doesn't seem to go together for me. I took Phentermine for 2 months before and it worked for me, this time I just feel like I could eat my foot. I am akways hungry. I will give the doctor 1 month to see if I see any results. I ordered my own b12 shots to give to myself at home because if I don't see results I can just give my self the shot because thats the main reason I went to a weight clinic, my doctor says b12 shots don't work, I know they do because I can tell a big difference when I get one. I also like to get one every week and I don't plan on going to the doctors every week becasue its too expensive.

Maybe I am just upset because I haven't lost any weight and I've lowered my calories but a ton and I've add 2 hours of working out on top of it and nothing is happening.

Day 4 and start of day 5

I got a call from the nurse on saturday, I am border line diabetic, it could still go either way, what I don't understand is if I have it or not, my new understanding is that I don't have it yet. (I just spoke again to a different nurse after I wrote that) They just kind of let me hanging there. She said I don't have to do anything yet, I thought I had to check my blood and stuff like that. My mom just found out she had it, they said that they just came out with new levels that are lower than before. I don't know anything about it so I am sorry if I am confussing some one.

My intention for going on this "diet" was to teach my self how to eat so I could get the lap band, but I started excersizing and figure I could do it my self, I don't need to do something so extreme. I feel better now than I have in a long time.

day 3

I am a bit sick to my stomach, I ate ok I guess. I am still hungry, at least I think thats what it is. My stomach is making all types of noises and just a whole lot is going on in there. Do you think it has anything to do with it dealing with the pills and is getting used to a 1000 calories instead of everything else I ate before? It uncomfortable.

day two on Phentermine

today was a lot better than yesterday. I was sick to my stomach for a while. I ate 859 calories. I plan on going to Mcdonalds in a few to get something to top it off. I just prolly shouldn't eat this late, I just can't go to sleep only having 859 calories, I had 1290 yesterday and I got really sick. Before I would guess that I would have had 3-4 thousand a day. I didnt care what I ate or about the calories. So I think the dr is nuts when she said 1000 a day, I never heard of it. I am trying but I cant and wont promise 1000 a day.

Phentermine

I went to a weight loss clinic today, I got a b12 shot, Phentermine hcl 37.5 So far it has worked, I do feel like I am hungery. I've had 1285 cals today, I am only supposed to have 1000 a day. Seems a little WOW to me. If I could guess what I had before I started 3 weeks ago I would guess 2- 4 thousand cals a day. I did not ever fell hungery. I do now, kinda. I feel better. LOL I pee all the time because I am always am drinking water.
