Bad Ranetta!!!&nbsp; Well most that time I was still on track.&nbsp; I fell off on almost everything.&nbsp; I stopped journaling my food, but still logged my water and exercise.&nbsp; Then over the past 2 weeks I have been away from the gym, but next week that is all over.&nbsp; I have enjoyed my little break, maybe a little too much.&nbsp; When I weighed myself yesterday, I was up 5lbs!!!&nbsp; Wow 5lbs, what in the hell did I eat?&nbsp; I guess I little of everything.&nbsp; I am looking forward to hitting the gym next week.&nbsp; I have missed it.&nbsp; I was bored on Friday and I thought that I should go to the gym to work off some energy.&nbsp; But I talked myself out of it.&nbsp; It was pretty easy because I am committed to going back this week.&nbsp; I just tell myself you are starting fresh next week so there is no reason to push it :o).&nbsp; I have missed my classes and my gym buddies.</P> <P>So I had my college homecoming and my reunion.&nbsp; It was great!!!!&nbsp; I had so much fun, I probably only got about 12 hours sleep in 72 hours but it was worth it.&nbsp; I had the best time in years.&nbsp; I love homecoming.&nbsp; It reminds you of a carefree time and seeing people that you have not seen in a year and in some cases more is the best.&nbsp; One of my line sisters had not been back to JSU since we graduated.&nbsp; I have only missed 1 homecoming since then.&nbsp; Needless to say it was all fun.&nbsp; It took me a few days to recover.&nbsp; All my hard work leading up to homecoming paid off.&nbsp; I wore my grey pants (that I could not fit awhile back).&nbsp; Everyone told me I looked great and even noticed that I had lost some weight.&nbsp; Even though I did not lose as much as I wanted to, there is always next year.&nbsp; And I can't wait!!</P> <P>My next goal will be for my birthday.&nbsp; Me and some friends have been wanting to do a Biggest Loser Challenge.&nbsp; Sounds like this is a perfect time.&nbsp; It is now 12 weeks before my birthday.&nbsp; So if we start next week, we will have time to finish before my birthday.&nbsp; My last birthday was terrible.&nbsp; I had just lost my grandfather and my aunt.&nbsp; I did not feel like celebrating and I never official celebrated, so for this birthday I am going to celebrate life.&nbsp; I know that my grandfather and my aunt would want that.&nbsp; My eating still sucks.&nbsp; At least this week I did great with the water.&nbsp; I tried the low carb thing and it is still a work in progress.&nbsp; Right now I just have too many sweets in my house.&nbsp; If I was strong enough I would throw them in the trash.&nbsp; Too bad I am not that strong.&nbsp; I had an interesting time at the gym today.&nbsp; I tried to take a spin class, but my butt was hurting 10 mins into the class.&nbsp; I have settled into a good rhythm at the gym and I am going on a regular basis.&nbsp; For a few days water was a problem, but I think I have that back on track.&nbsp; Now food is the new old enemy.&nbsp; My eating for the month has sucked big time.&nbsp; I am eating chips, french fries, everything fried and drinking alcohol during the week again.&nbsp; My goal is to only drink on weekends.&nbsp; Well everything has gone to crap.&nbsp; Good thing I am being good at working out or I would see those pounds come back and quickly.&nbsp;For the next 2 weeks, I&nbsp;decided to go low carb to try and get away from the potato addiction.&nbsp; I thought I had a good pace today.&nbsp; I was walking at the pace of one song per street.&nbsp; So I was thinking I was doing great.&nbsp; Not so much.&nbsp; I had gotten my walking pace down to 3 miles in 50 miles , which is about 16 mins a miles.&nbsp; Up from my 30 min mile and my 20 min mile.&nbsp; So anywho I am trying to do my 3 miles in 45 mins and I am thinking that I am rocking and rolling and truly ahead of that 45 min pace.&nbsp; I check the Ipod right around the 2.50 mile mark and it 10:15am, I am supposed to be finished at 10:15am if I am walking 15 mins a mile pace.&nbsp; This means that I am at my typical pace.&nbsp; I was pissed.&nbsp; I have a better pace even when my dog takes 3 craps on the walk and I have to stop.&nbsp; She took a crap before we started in the backyard and got the first one over and done with at the 0.25 mile mark.&nbsp; All we had going on was peeing every 2 mins, but she runs ahead and gets that done before I can pull on on her.&nbsp; We will continue to work on the pace.&nbsp; I want to do the&nbsp;AIDS Walk this year and I need to get my pace better so I can get it done in 1 hour 30 mins.&nbsp; I would like to do under an hour for next year.&nbsp; I'll keep working on it. </P> <P>BTW:&nbsp; I weighted myself after I got back from my trip to Memphis and I had gained 3 lbs.&nbsp; This morning I weight and I had lost that weight plus 0.5lb more.&nbsp; Tomorrow is my official weight in so lets keep our fingers crossed.&nbsp; I have one month to my reunion.&nbsp; I will be working out like crazy.&nbsp; Also I was supposed to go to the gym tonight, but I almost ran out of gas today and could not find any.&nbsp; I went to the gym yesterday.&nbsp; I actually have a cold so I didn't go on Monday, should have gone but I really didn't feel like it.&nbsp; Plus TOM is making a stop by, so I was just drained.&nbsp; I went to my dance class last night and had a great workout.&nbsp; I wore these sweatpants that were a little fitting on me before.&nbsp; Last night they had some slack in them.&nbsp; I was like okay this is working.&nbsp; I really have got to work on my stomach.&nbsp; I am losing weight in my hips and thighs but the waist is not going down at the same rate.&nbsp; I don't want to look funny.&nbsp; I tried on my goal pants the other night, I could button them but they were tight.&nbsp; These pants are some gouchos they are actually in the size I wear but they are too tight.&nbsp; WTF!!!!&nbsp; What is up with sizes here?&nbsp; I have a pair of capris that I love they are in my size, I can put them on now with them zipped and buttoned up.&nbsp; They are failing off me and I need to get them altered.&nbsp; These gray pants are the same size and I can even button them up.&nbsp; UGH!!!!!!&nbsp; Anyway I need to work hard because I want to wear them to my college homecoming which is the end of next month.&nbsp; I am starting to do crunches like crazy from here on out.&nbsp; </P> <P>Gas here in GA is crazy.&nbsp; We are running out.&nbsp; I am not going to the gym today, which I typically don't go on Wednesdays anyway.&nbsp; I will go walking in about an hour.&nbsp; It is so nice outside that you can really go anytime of the day now.&nbsp; Thursday is my day to do water aerobics, but I need a new bathing suit.&nbsp; It is hard to find one now with summer being over.&nbsp; But I will keep trying.&nbsp; If I don't find one I will probably just go walking on Thursday too.&nbsp; I might still go to the gym to get some strength training in, but I can do that during the day.</P> <P>I hope everyone is having a great week.&nbsp; My eating has been out of control.&nbsp; The good thing is my exercise has been still on point.&nbsp; This week this got worst, I have failed on drinking all my water.&nbsp; This was something that was pretty tough for me, but I had overcome it.&nbsp; This week, I can't get back on track.&nbsp; I didn't drink all my water this weekend and I have had a few sodas and several cocktails.&nbsp; So to say the least I have had a terrible couple of weeks.&nbsp; Tonight I skipped my funk dance class.&nbsp; I went out with one of my best friends was having her birthday.&nbsp; We went to the movies and had dinner.&nbsp; Nothing too big, but I ended up skipping out of my class.&nbsp; What can I say?&nbsp; I plan to get back on track with exercise on Thursday.&nbsp; I normally take my water aerobics class on Thursday, but this week they are teaching a new class called dancing like the pussycat dolls.&nbsp; The instructor from my Monday class is teaching so she wants me to come.&nbsp; I told her I would.&nbsp; I really like those classes.&nbsp; I do have some boneless skinless chicken breast and ground turkey in the fridge.&nbsp; I need to cook!!!&nbsp; It is not like I don't like cooking, because I do.&nbsp; But I need to hit the grocery store and get back on track.&nbsp; </P> <P>So with all this bad news, what is the deal with the title of this blog?&nbsp; Well tonight my favorite show came back on.&nbsp; That's right The Biggest Loser!!!!!&nbsp; I was so happy it is back.&nbsp; It gave me the inspiration that I need to get back on track.&nbsp; Plus I get Jillian's daily emails, so she will be chatting away about the show tomorrow.&nbsp; So did they just completely get rid of Kim?&nbsp; I have somewhere to go tomorrow morning, but I am going to make sure that I get my walk in tomorrow.&nbsp; And get to the grocery store to get some healthy food in my house.&nbsp; Even if I don't get in a good walk tomorrow outside, I am planning on going to the aquarium so that will be a good walk.&nbsp; I will start back with my double workouts on Thursday <IMG src="/thm/images/mooeditable/msn/angel_smile.gif">.&nbsp; I am not in the mood.&nbsp; What is so crazy is that I am doing the things I don't like and not doing the things that are normally easy for me.&nbsp; I have been to the gym everyday that I am supposed to be there.&nbsp; Yesterday I had alot of running around to do so I didn't go walking like I am supposed to.&nbsp; Today I still plan to go to my water aerobics class and I am planning to go walk in a liitle bit.&nbsp; Tomorrow I am going to try to get my butt out of bed to go to kickboxing.&nbsp; So for the first time every exercise is not the problem.&nbsp; It is probably due to the fact that I know that if I get off track it is harder for me to get back on with exercise than anything else.&nbsp; My water has been good too.&nbsp; So what could be the problem?&nbsp; That's right food.&nbsp; I know that I am an emotional eater.&nbsp; I confess, it is true.&nbsp; I wish I could break the habit but it is very hard.&nbsp; This week started out on an emotional rollercoaster and I am still riding it.&nbsp; It mostly has to do with a case of the exs.&nbsp; Here I am moving along, doing my thing and not one but two old flames decide to cause drama in my life.&nbsp; One of them I am actually friends with.&nbsp; We have been really cool over the years, now he is acting all crazy and brand new.&nbsp; I have some issues about us in the past but nothing major, he has problems with us in the present.&nbsp; I am not sure that it is something that I can deal with.&nbsp; I just want a casual relationship with him with no drama.&nbsp; He claims to want the same but is causing hella drama.&nbsp; CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?!?!?!&nbsp; I just want to be friends, that's it!!!!&nbsp; Need is a more recent ex, who brings nothing but drama.&nbsp; After not talking for the past 3 months, he is back again, stirring up trouble.&nbsp; The main reason that we are not is we don't get along.&nbsp; PERIOD!!&nbsp; There is no mystery to it.&nbsp; We are great as friends, terrible as a couple.&nbsp; He doesn't like the fact that I don't take any of his crap anymore, which usually causes an arguement.&nbsp; Earlier this week he was basically telling me how mean I was and I disrespected him.&nbsp; At first I was like whatever, then alot of things he said were really true.&nbsp; I do try to be mean to him on purpose.&nbsp; That is really messed up to say but it is really true.&nbsp; So now I have two people pulling me in different directions and I am all messed up.&nbsp; Somebody get me a cheeseburger and fries!!!!! LOL!!!&nbsp; Well I didn't eat that but I have but I have had my share of cookies.&nbsp; And I did go and get me some more.&nbsp; Tomorrow is my weigh in so hopefully it won't be to bad.&nbsp; I am going to finish my cookies, but I plan to get on track for next week.&nbsp; I went shopping on only got some good healthy stuff.&nbsp; So I am prepared.&nbsp; I talked to one of my friends about my issues and she gave some good advice.&nbsp; I should have turned to her before the cookies.&nbsp; But those cookies are good!!&nbsp; <img alt="" src="http://www.extrapounds.com/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif" /></p> <p>Wishing you a better week than me!!</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://www.extrapounds.com/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif" />&nbsp; Ranetta</p> <a href="http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/devastingdiva/comments/355545/not-a-good-week">Comments(1)</a> 355545 Saturday, December 8, 2007 23:01:14 The state of blah http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/devastingdiva/comments/354803/the-state-of-blah <p>This weekend I had to go to Mississippi for an alumni council meeting.&nbsp; I was running from Friday until Sunday what feels like non stop.&nbsp; I had a lot of running around to do on Friday to get ready to go.&nbsp; Jackson is about a 6 hour drive from Atlanta.&nbsp; We didn't get in town until almost midnight.&nbsp; Then I had to take some time to get things together for the meeting the next day.&nbsp; I go to the meeting, need to meet up with a friend to get my football game tickets and still have a luncheon and an afternoon meeting to go to.&nbsp; Well we get out the meetings early (thank God).&nbsp; Hit the hotel to changed for the football game, which the time has been changed to 2 hours earlier.&nbsp; We get to the game just in time for kickoff.&nbsp; The tigers won!!!&nbsp; It was a little too close for comfort, we were tied at the half.&nbsp; We pulled it out in the end.&nbsp; That night a few people went out, I took me a long shower and had me a couple of cocktails.&nbsp; I was supposed to meet up with a friend that lives in Jackson but they completely flaked on me.&nbsp; Don't you hate that?&nbsp; It is not like I really wanted to go out and kick it for a while, but it would be nice to go out for a minute.&nbsp;</p> <p>Now to my state of blah title, today I was not feeling it at all.&nbsp; I got up around 9:30am and made so breakfast.&nbsp; Today is my early day at the gym and I was not feeling it.&nbsp; I normally love my dance classes, today I wanted to walk out 30 mins into it.&nbsp; It really might have been less than 30 mins.&nbsp; I was messing up big time on all the moves and I didn't feel my marching in place or anything.&nbsp; I did stay until the end and I started doing better.&nbsp; I figure I got a pretty good workout in the last 30 mins.&nbsp; I was not focused at all.&nbsp; Then I looked at my schedule and this is my strength training day too.&nbsp; So sometime tonight I have to go and do the rest of my workout.&nbsp;&nbsp; That is going to be a challenge.&nbsp; Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully a little bit better than today.</p> <p>Have a great week and work through you challenges!!!</p> <p><img alt="" src="http://www.extrapounds.com/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif" />&nbsp; Ranetta</p> <a href="http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/devastingdiva/comments/354803/the-state-of-blah">Comments(0)</a> 354803 Sunday, December 9, 2007 00:08:20 I'm going down too!!
