Weight Battle
Ok, so this is new to me but I will give it a try. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. Last year I tried weight watchers and I lost some weight, but then I wasn't really sticking to it and I gained all but 1 pound back. Then I hit a breaking point. In the begining of October 2005 I went to the doctor about my knees, and he did a $276.00 MRI and stated that there wasn't anything wrong with my knees, except for the fact that I was overweight and a couch potato. I was pissed, how dare he call me FAT!!! When I left his office I was pissed. But then I went home that night and looked in the mirror, I realized that I had in fact gained a lot of weight after getting married and having kids. So 3 days before Halloween I went on "diet" that has really turned into a life style change. Last week my husband joined the fight. So right now I really think that I am on the right track. I have lost a grand total of 26 pounds and I hope that by this summer I can wear a bathing suit and not feel like a beached whale. I have a picture of me at my highest weight and I keep it in my purse, it keeps me motivated. Whatever works right?
