I just signed up for the National Body Challenge sponsored by the Discovery Healthy Channel!
There is a business dinner on March 26th. I would like to shed some pounds before that date.
So that is my new goal. That's 8.5 weeks from now. If I set a goal of 2 pounds per week for 8 weeks, that would be 16 pounds.
So ... 16 pounds it shall be. 
I'm thinking of trying the South Beach Diet. If anyone happens to read this and has input, I'd love your comments.
I wonder how many people are also planning new habits for the new year?
I started early. My goal is daily exercise and a minimum of 32 oz of water daily.
My day began by Walking and Boxing with George Foreman. He's funny and that makes it fun to watch him.
Then I filled my 32 oz water jug with 1/4 of a lemon, some ice and filtered water. I finished that before 2PM and treated myself to a Mt. Dew. Normally I would have had 2-3 Mt. Dews by the time. I am halfway through my second jug of lemon water.
I ate well for breakfast and lunch, but cheated with a chocolate treat. After all, don't I have to finish off all of the fudge before January 1st? LOL
I'm up a pound today. I seem to bounce from 168 to 172. I'm at 169 today after being at 168 for the last couple of weight checks.
*sigh*
I'm not on track for my goal in weight loss, but at least I've lost another pound rather than gaining!!

I want to drop to 125 pounds within the next 125 days.
That's 47 pounds. I've never purposefully lost weight before.
Can I do it?
