gyms 'n stuff

well I want to join a gym..I was a member of a gym at a heckuva good deal too BUT - it was so far away that when gas prices went up - it killed the "deal"
 
I know I need something - this working out at home thing isn't 100%..so I'm reviewing my options...if anyone has thoughts - feel free to share..

sheesh - need to get a grip and stay focused!  Weight is steady - do you think we have a set-point when it comes to weight??  I've been this weight for so long I'm beginning to wonder if this is "IT" or me??

Went horseback riding - it was so much fun!  I loved being on a horse again - it's been YEARS!  I wonder how sore I'll be tomorrow?!
 
Eating is right on track!  Carbs are below 70 so far! WOOT!

Back at it!

I got down to a low of 155...have regained to 160 (current weight)!
I'm still stoked in that I lost that much and kept most of it off...so now I'm back at it - I started today - completely 100% refocused and I know (at least I hope) blogging will help me there!
 
More later!  Going horseback riding today and I am STOKED!

I can't believe I've been losing steadily - I'm stoked - I think I finally may see GOAL!  I dunno if I'll see it by the end of the year but I WILL see it!!!!

where does the time go?

I topped out at 225 in January of this year - and decided right then and there - ENOUGH!  I started going Low-Carb and waddaya know?!  I am losing!!!  I weighed in today and am currently at 186!!!  I am loving this new way of eating too - it's working for me!

I'm also working on exercising more as I know I'm going to need this to finish the job of getting to a normal BMI!

Hopefully, blogging will again become routine!

 

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hope everyone is having/has had a great Christmas!  I know I had a good one - was nice to have the kids here - wish my son coulda joined us! 

I did SUPER with points...I even had 1/2 Point left at the end of the day - go figure!

DD8 got an Easy Bake oven so I'll be figuring Points for Easy Bake Treats! LOL  Should be fun!

Other than that - having a great day and STILL OP!

 

I rejoined Weight Watchers December 9, 2006

and am nearly at my original starting weight the FIRST time I joined...but hey...that's okay!!  I WILL get to goal this year!!  Um...THIS year meaning 2007!!

So yeah, I started at 203.8 and my first weigh-in had me to 198.4 but this last weigh-in today I gained .2 so I'm now at 198.6.  I'm not upset over this slight gain because I've been sick and I'm sure the body is doing what it does to heal and that most likely includes holding onto all the nutrition I'm giving it - PLUS I've been pretty inactive ...all of it adds up to a small gain!

This week I AM SERIOUSLY going to focus on getting some exercise in...I've got my Bowflex all set-up - I just need to quit being intimidated by it!!  Silly I know...but MAN...it's ....just....overwhelming!

I'm still going to be doing WATP too!

So...that's it!  You can look for more regular updates too!

I'm baaaaaaaaaack

Okay - enough of this crap!  I'm back OP and am getting this weight off!!!!

So, in my efforts - I'm considering purchasing a Bowflex..but alas, cannot decide which one to get???  Anyone have thoughts, opinions or suggestions???  I'm all ears!

So yeah, today is Day 1 of back OP!!!  So far so good and it's after noon already - that's gotta be a good sign.....right?

 

Hey! I exercised!

I can't believe I actually got some exercise in! GO ME!

I actually think I have my mojo back...took long enough!!

What is it?  2 weeks to make a habit?  This is week 2 of Core but week 1 of seriously exercising....bye the end of next week I should be rockin'!
