Texas Sized Intro
Howdy ya'll !!
How is that for a Texas welcome? I ran across extrapounds.com while searching for something that I can not even remember at this moment. I have been struggling with my weight for 7 years now. I have been skinny, I have been heavy and I have been in between. The last time I was thin I lost about 50 pounds on what is called the divorce diet...man I love how that diet just makes the weight fall off...but since I am now happily married I am not willing to go on that diet again. My husband and I met in 2003 and my weight has steadily been on the upswing. At first it was the newlyweds eating out all the time, cooking at home for those romantic dinners, (my husband is cajun..oh omg how the cajun man can cook..) then it was hanging out with friends drinking our favorite alcholic beverages, then it was me trying to get healthier and the first step was stop smoking so i can breath to exercise. Then I decided to quit my career, take a year sabattical, then start another career where all I do is sit in front of a computer all day while eating the work hours away. So as you can see, the choices I have made have all lead me to this wonderful texas sized arse of mine. I cannot seem to make the right choices in any direction..I continue to revert back to my old habits within one hour of making new resolutions to get healthy. So I am hoping the extrapound.com website will keep me motivated and inspired, but most of all keep me focused. I have a huge tendency to get very bored very quickly and jump to the next thing to help me lose this weight. So please join me on my Texas sized healthy lifestyle challenge where complete honesty is required and where I will meet my goal in 6 months :)
