Bromelain,to die for?...

Bromelain is supposed to be an anti-inflammatory drug, so needless to say, I ran right out and got some, well, I actually got it in the form of a "whole enyzme", its a digestive enzyme and has bromelain in it, oh goody, Im starting to scare myself now.

Ive always considered the way I ate as healthy, but, it wasn't, according to the "ultrametabolism diet" book, I was on a low fat diet, which is totally the opposite of healthy....who knew??

Low fat, sugar free, fat free, and the list goes on. I had no ideal I was ingesting so many chemicals that are totally bad for you, and here's the biggest disappointment, many of these chemicals slow down your metabolism to almost non-existence, I repeat...who knew??

UltraMetabolism Diet

I have read that book too.  I also have his Detox Box.  After reading that book I'm determined to go back to "whole" food eating.  As a child, I had food allergies and my mother had me on a similiar "whole" food diet.  Everything she made was homemade and not processed.  As a kid I was very healthy.  Now I'm addicted to caffiene and convenience foods.  As a result, my body always aches (inflammation) and I feel tired all the time.  Next week I'm starting phase I (slowly eliminating coffee and sugar).  I'm going to eliminate the white flour the following week.  What I've read is that your body will feel very tired at first.  I'm going to try to do it in stages so hopefully it won't be too bad.   I'm dreading the caffiene withdrawal symptoms I'll have (I get severe migraines).  Did you have to eliminate anything when you started?

I do have one of those books called Purify Your Body.  You guys are inspiring me to CLEANSE!  I think I will reread it!

Hey, Dawn. Glad to see you joining me on the Ultrametabolism plan. I'm really enjoying it. It works so well, and I actually like the food. I especially like the higher amount of good fats and carbs I can eat. Keep blogging about your progress!
