Day 1 Slim in 6

Well I've done the first video to the Slim in 6 program and heres what I think of it so far.
** Please note that I recommend everyone no matter what program you're using at home watch the video first before you actually do it. It helps more than You think.

So I watched this video "start it up" few things I notice right away.
1. 25 mins long
2. the people doing it along with Debbie, are actual people from the test group (normal people) not hired dancers.
3.the moves looked super easy :S
4. I began to have doubts

So...I did the video.
If you do the moves that seemed easy the way you're supposed holy hell (excuse the language...) can you feel your muscles fire up!!
I was kind of disipointed (not in the video) but in my left gluteal muscle....it decided to tense way up early in the work out that i couldnt give the squats and what not my all and you'll hear alot of people just push through it! its just a moment of weakness...

as an RMT in training right now.... DO NOT DO THAT.
If you feel any sign of weakness in your muscles no matter what part please for the love of your poor muslce don't push it. It's telling you it hurts for a reaon. Do an easier version of the move and don't strain the poor thing. There's always tomorrow but do be careful...

However I was really impressed with the video, only bad thing I have to say about it is the music lol but once you get the routine down, turn on your own tunes to it.

Now alot of people are saying you can't get super fit in 6 weeks. Well depending on where you're at currently. No. Me realisticly no. However. in 6 weeks to really notice a change in your body you have to do the work outs at least 6 days a week.

Now I already hear the comments  "thats impossible! you'll kill yourself!!"
Well like my dad says if you want it, suck it up and do it.

These work outs are designed for your fitness level, the instructor also constantly reminds you to listen to your body, do it at YOUR pace, and gives you modified ways to do these moves.

The idea of this system is once you master phase one or "start it up" you move on to the next level. "ramp it up" or Phase 2 and so on.

That means don't move on until you're ready! Once a video becomes to easy you know its time to move on.

So Basicly ideally it goes like this-> "start it up"  1 week
                                                        "Ramp it up" 1 week
                                                        "Burn it up" 4 weeks
But theres the break down of the first day and a little about the program.
There is also a slim and limber (stretching and flexability) and Abs in 6 that you can pair along. I plan on startings abs in 6 tomorrow.

Hope this helps you and I hope I see results by the end of 7 days :)
until the next measurments...

Day 1: Who could have thought such a day could occur...

So huge day today, Girl on my tranist bus that was standing beside me basicly the whole way decided to just faint! It scared me half to death, but thank goodness we were near the skytrain station and we all helped her off, she came to and I stayed with her until the ambulence arrived while asking her if she had eaten anything and she said she hadnt so my conclusion was low blood sugar so I bought her a muffin, banana and an ice tea.

Problem to this scenario lol thatt was the last of my food money...but thats ok :)

But yay! day 1 of the journey!
School is getting more and more stressful more midterms apparently. But I will prevail lol Learned an interesting fact! Get this for every POUND you gain 20KM of blood vessels are created to supply the pound with blood to live. Hence putting more strain on your heart causing your blood pressure to go up :O wow!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today I'm taking measurements and this morning I weighed myself and I'm starting at 150 and the goal weight is 110-115 (110 prefrebly) :) so 40 pounds must be burned!

I'm kinda nervous about the measurments. lol no tonage what so ever going on in this bodice but gotta suck it up and face the fact that these measurments are terrible (to me) but will change!

And the numbers are in....
Neck: 12.75 in      Chest: 37in       Thighs: 23 in
Bicep: 12  in         Waist: 31 in       Calves: 15.5 in
Forearm:9.5  in    Hips: 35.5 in

ouch... lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also got one of my friends on board :) our half way prize is our halloween costumes :) and our main prize is "suite" shopping.

Eating today has been genrally good. I havnt had any junk and I'm about to start the slim in 6 program as you all know ( if u didn't now you do).

Im super excited :D and for dinner im thinking of making some butter nut squash.

On a side note I've been asked about the mexico bk ground lol Yes its true (didnt think it was that obvious) but im not mexican lol it's an inside joke as well a possible prize destination! :D

and I'll leave you with this little tid bit of information... I hate vegetables. Thats right. Every single one of them, except the sweet tasting ones :)

I'll be making another post tonight to let you know how the Slim in 6 program works and what I though of the starting video "Start it up" as well as "abs in 6"
until then,

Introduction

Well this is my first post so here's a little about me! By answering some questions :)

1. Why did I join this website?
Crazy as it sounds, I've kept myself motivated until, that is, I entered into a strenuous full time RMT program and I need the help to get back on track :(

2.What's your story?
Well the story goes as this. I was a whopping 198 pounds one year ago. I'm now 1150 however during that year i worked 2 jobs 14-16 hours a day. My diet was perfect and on that alone I lost the weight. Now at 150 I can feel myself slip ( i was 132) and well lets face it diet alone ain't gonna tone up these arms....(or anything else for that matter...)

3. Why are you doing this?
Well I want to be the best I can be and as a RMT in training being fit and in shape won't only help my personal life it will help me be a better RMT so I can better serve my future patients.

4. So what's the goal?
Goal. To be hot and scrumptous by next summer and I believe I've given myself a reasonable timeline :) from today to when summer starts.
goal1: be in the best toned shape of my life before i turn 21
goal2: To wear a bikini for the first time in my life.
goal3: to wear basicly anything i want and not have to worry about well...rollage.
goal4: instead of hiding from the camera I want to JUmp in front of the camera :D

5. (last one!) How am I gonna get there?
Well im going to have (not a perfect) but damn near to it diet :) and im going to start my journey my test running a program from beach body called slim in 6 and will document it every week and i'll also be testing some products as well. (supplements etc)

:) hope you've enjoyed the read! Looking forward to starting offcially today with the Slim in 6 program (...ooo..measurements...those will be coming tomorrow since I have school today) :)
