Well I've done the first video to the Slim in 6 program and heres what I think of it so far.
** Please note that I recommend everyone no matter what program you're using at home watch the video first before you actually do it. It helps more than You think.
So I watched this video "start it up" few things I notice right away.
1. 25 mins long
2. the people doing it along with Debbie, are actual people from the test group (normal people) not hired dancers.
3.the moves looked super easy :S
4. I began to have doubts
So...I did the video.
If you do the moves that seemed easy the way you're supposed holy hell (excuse the language...) can you feel your muscles fire up!!
I was kind of disipointed (not in the video) but in my left gluteal muscle....it decided to tense way up early in the work out that i couldnt give the squats and what not my all and you'll hear alot of people just push through it! its just a moment of weakness...
as an RMT in training right now.... DO NOT DO THAT.
If you feel any sign of weakness in your muscles no matter what part please for the love of your poor muslce don't push it. It's telling you it hurts for a reaon. Do an easier version of the move and don't strain the poor thing. There's always tomorrow but do be careful...
However I was really impressed with the video, only bad thing I have to say about it is the music lol but once you get the routine down, turn on your own tunes to it.
Now alot of people are saying you can't get super fit in 6 weeks. Well depending on where you're at currently. No. Me realisticly no. However. in 6 weeks to really notice a change in your body you have to do the work outs at least 6 days a week.
Now I already hear the comments "thats impossible! you'll kill yourself!!"
Well like my dad says if you want it, suck it up and do it.
These work outs are designed for your fitness level, the instructor also constantly reminds you to listen to your body, do it at YOUR pace, and gives you modified ways to do these moves.
The idea of this system is once you master phase one or "start it up" you move on to the next level. "ramp it up" or Phase 2 and so on.
That means don't move on until you're ready! Once a video becomes to easy you know its time to move on.
So Basicly ideally it goes like this-> "start it up" 1 week
"Ramp it up" 1 week
"Burn it up" 4 weeks
But theres the break down of the first day and a little about the program.
There is also a slim and limber (stretching and flexability) and Abs in 6 that you can pair along. I plan on startings abs in 6 tomorrow.
Hope this helps you and I hope I see results by the end of 7 days :)
until the next measurments...
