Changing the mindset
I'm doing pretty well on this weight loss and exercise adventure so far. Its definitely a plan I can live with for a long time. But, I still get sad sometimes that I probably will never be able to eat all of the things I've really enjoyed. The things I really LIKE to cook are creamy, fat FULL foods like potato soup or homebaked breads and goodies. I don't know how to eat just one piece of one of them...I want to eat several. :(
Oh well, Im learning new things to cook, today we are having Cheesy Vegetable soup for dinner I think. I got the recipe off http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/index.php? the weightwatchers message board I go to a lot and it looks really good....just 1 pt per one cup serving. (how do you eat soup without bread?....lol).
Well, I have a ton of things to get done today....gardening, cleaning, school with the kids. I should stay fairly busy most of the day.
Oh and Im at 10 miles of walking now...its only April 6th, and I'm 1/4th of the way to my goal for the month :D
