Been neglecting my blog!!
It's been a while and as you can see from my graph it has been a bumpy road! After a 10lb gain in one week last week I have hit the gym HARD and lost 9 of the 10 pounds, I was so mad at myself for ruining my loss - was back to the same weight as in April so what a waste of 3months!! Admittedly I had stopped smoking but got to get over that as an excuse now!!
Last weeks excersise was - 2 1hr gym visits, 2 length swims and an aqua-fit class, also had saved points too - I was an angel!!!
This week so far, 1hr gym, 2 length swims and an aqua-fit class, going to the gym tonight too cos they have skysports and I can watch my beloved Leeds United play while working out, yey!! If I can get on the machines with TV's was packed last night!!
So I'm turning it around - just sick of wasting time yo-yoing, time to get real!

1st post smoking loss!!
FINALLY!!!! 3 1/2 weeks after stopping smoking, I have finally had a loss, 5lbs and all I needed was WW bars - I have been having one after my evening meal to signify the end of the meal instead of a ciggie!! Looks like I might have cracked it, cravings a getting fewer which is nice! And I swear that my sense of smell could rival a Springer Spaniels, I can smell everything, can't say that my taste has improved like people say but def my sense of smell has improved - I can smell a smoker at about 10m!!!
Went on an hour walk with my Auntie yesterday and saved all the points from that too - fingers crossed for the remaining 2lbs off next Sunday morning...

Back on the wagon!?
Think I'm finally back on the wagon after my third gain at WI - now 7lbs on in 3wks, feel a little bad but would have been 100% worse if I didn't have the WI "fear" every week.
Not craving the ciggies as much now, 3wks as of 9pm last night!!
Had a 3day migraine at the beginning of the week and managed to stay within points even though I was feeling very sorry for myself, even managed to do some excersise - Monday did 30mins DVD and Tuesday did 15mins on bike, not a lot but normally do nothing!!

Battling, weakly
OMG I cannot stop eating, getting so annoyed with myself cause I think I have beaten the smoking cravings but I seem to be needing to put hand to mouth all the time, seem to be ok for a few days then bang, cannot stop again!! Had about 100 points over the last 2 days....feel so silly, was just a stupid habit and 2 wks of not doing it is winding me up!!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Still kickstarting...
So 22 points per day isn't too bad obviously not much room to play with but its the playing that adds the weight I guess! Eaten the following today and still fagless BTW - as of 9pm tomorrow it will be 2wks, still thinking about it but not hacking stuff off my lungs anymore and can smell it on other people now, not sure if that means that my sense of smell has improved or because my own smell isn't of fags anymore, can a cheeky KFC on Sunday and could def taste the salt more, thought it was a myth about smell and taste improving, but would appear not!!
B - Cornflakes & S.skimmed milk 2.5pts
L - 0pt tom & carrot soup, ham & picalli sandwiches 4pts
D - Home made cottage pie and loads of veg inc sweetcorn 9pts
Snacks - 2 Apples 1pt, Pom-bears 1.5pt, fruit cocktail 1pt & LF ice cream 3pts.
22/22 kickstart points!

Kickstarted!!
Well today is a new day - I have started kickstart so will be having 22 points instead of 30points! Today I have eaten;
B - 2 Weetabix, S.Skimmed milk - 3pts
L - 0pt soup, ham salad inc cottage cheese & tinned pots - 2.5pts
D - Home made chilli & rice (large portion) - 11.5pts
Snacks - Apple 0.5pt, 2 crumpets with jam 3pts & Pom-bears 1.5
All 22 points accounted for, still a little peckish but that is because I havent stopped eating for about 2weeks!!

Gained at WI!!
Oh dear - 1st major gain of my campain, 3lbs on so that is 4 lbs on in 2weeks, shook me a little and now set up for kick start next week. donr some 0pt soup and done my salad for tomorrow and will be going food shopping after work for WW meals to keep me in check!!
Need to sort it out now, I know people have gained more when they have stopped smoking but 3 lbs in a week could well start spiralling out of control and before I know it I will be back to square 1!!

Just sneeked a look at the scales!
Oh dear - all the "it's ok I've stopped smoking" has finally hit hard - right on the scales!! Not entirely sure how much difference there will be between my scales and at WI but if they are anywhere near the same then I'm doomed - looks like I have put about 8lbs on.....bad, very very bad! Already planned to do kick start next week so def gonna do it and hopefully it will come off in 1 go!?!
Oh well, no point in crying over spilt milk n all that!

Today I discovered Aldi!!
Today I discovered Aldi, may sound silly but I have always been cynical about "cheaper" shops and thought that you could get just the same at Asda if you buy smart price or just Asdas own but I was pleasently suprised at my wears;
Maris piper pots
LF Oven chips
Salad potatoes
3x tins of toms
2x tins of new pots
Honey nut cornflakes
1/2 fat cheese
cottage cheese
Apples
Ham
Mushrooms
Lettuce
Toms
Celery
Cucumber
LF Crisps X2 bags of 6
All for £16.78!!!! Was amazed and as much as I have always rated Asda, things looked fresher and I only had to queue behind 1 person!

Day 7 No smoking
Day 7 of not smoking and finally the munchies seem to be subsiding (hopefully) had terrible toilet troubles but that can be expected apparently!
Not looking forward to WI on Sunday as I have eaten what I like for the last couple of days as a kind of celebration of not smoking, defeats the object and I vowed that I wouldn't do it but at least I'm aware of it this time and not going to totally let go as I did last time! Think I'm def making better chioces about cig subsitutes!!
Not feeling as blue today thankfully...
