Back in the New Year!
The last few months have been sooooo busy and hectic, especially when it came to finding time to workout. LOL! My eating never went wild, but the exercise routine started waning back in October.
Now that the holiday season is coming to a close, I am finding the desire to jump back into my old routine... and I can't wait! I will start back up on Jan 1st. My oldest daughter's 11th birthday is Dec 30th, so I have to get passed that first. LOL!
Soooo, for those of you who have been keeping an eye on my progress, I'll be back in business next week! YAY! :-)

December already?
Wow! Can you believe that it's less than 2 wks until Christmas? Luckily, I only have four more gifts to buy and then I'll be DONE! YAY!
For those of you following my progress, I am taking a break until the new year. I've been soooo busy for the last two months that I haven't done much of anything. Thank goodness the weight is staying where it's suppose to be.
Last month I was participating in a month long writing contest. I accomplished my 50,000 word goal and received my "winnings" two days before the contest ended. YAY!
This month I've been working with my cover designer to complete the cover for the book I was writing last month during the contest. She finished it yesterday and it is just beautiful.

I am also beginning the editing, revising and rewriting process of said book. That will take me until February because I always go over my books about four times before I'm happy with them. LOL!

Ok, what happened here?
I'm gone from the site for a few weeks and all of my posts are gone? I had nearly 2 yrs of posts here and now they're all gone? That does NOT make me happy at all. UGH!
I haven't been on here in a few weeks. Things have been crazy for the last month. My new book was released on October 1st and the whole month of October has been about promoting, promoting, promoting. I've had good sales and a busy life.....which in turn has caused my exercising to suffer.
It is November now and even though I'm in a writing contest for this month that will keep me busy, I am determined to get back on the workout routine hot and heavy starting Monday, November 5th.
I'm highly disappointed in my weight loss for 2007. I lost over 100lbs, but only 2lbs of that has been lost in 2007. Very disappointing. I now know that can easily maintain my weight, but I still have 70lbs to lose so it's no where near time for my body to be maintaining.
So, I'll be trying to force myself to post on here daily again, between all of my other requirements throughout my busy days.

It's another lovely morning in north GA. I certainly love this kind of weather. My house windows are always open during this time of year.

Tuesday
This morning has turned out ot be another nice one; weather-wise. The temps are comfortable and I have all of my windows open to welcome the light breeze that is blowing. If only it would stay like this year round. I'd be such a happy person. I dread those wnter BLAHS that will arrive in a couple of months.

A new week.
Wow, is it really Monday already? UGH! I miss the days of sleeping until noon and galavanting around town all night. Ahhhh, my teenage years. LOL! You wouldn't catch me driving around at 3am these days.
Ok here's the beginning of my list for today.
- 9 serving of water
- 7 servings of fruits & veggies
- 100 squats
- 50 side crunches ea. side
- 100 stomach crunches
- 150 inner leg lifts ea. leg
- 100 outer leg lifts ea. leg
- 25 butt lifts ea. leg
- 105 weighted arm exercises ea. arm w/5lb weights
Thank you to everyone who checked out my GoodHousekeeping article. It has been a crazy ride from 323lbs to here. Some days I get frustrated that the scales aren't moving, but then I remind myself that I've come this far and I'll keep going.
I took my body measurements the other day and even though the numbers on the scales aren't moving, my body is shrinking. I've lost a decent amount of inches even without the pounds changing.

Today has been soooo nice here at my house. The temps are cool enough and the wind is blowing just enough that I have had the windows open all day here in the house. I LOVE being able to do that. Not only does it save on the power bill, but I love listening to my windchimes outside.

Life has been crazy lately. I've been working on my new book, which will be released on October 1st, and it has consumed all of me for the last few weeks. Now that it's complete, has a cover and is uploaded to the publisher I can finally relax a little. I've greatly enjoyed this project and I look forward to writing the sequel starting Nov 1st. :-)
Now onto my health portion of the program. LOL.
