Same old
I know it's been forever since I have even looked at my profile. It's amazing how easily I get off track or how easy it is to give up. But I am starting to find new reasons to continue my journey. My daughter is my reason. I don't want her to grow up and follow in my footsteps. I know how hard it was for me and I just don't want that for her. I started reading The Untlimate Weight Solution for Teens and it opened my eyes to what I am doing to my daughter without realizing it. How my behaviors now are going to affect her in the future. And yes I know I am long past my teen years but I thought it would be an interesting read.
So it's back to eating right and exercising. I made sure to pack my lunch today and incude healthy snacks. Also I prepared my breakfast to go. I have already planned to start going to Jazzercise again starting today. Since I am going to Jazzercise I won't be getting home until later so that will make it easier to eat less for dinner. If I can see something in the next two weeks I will be excited.
Now for my goal: My first goal is to go down by one size by my anniversary which is in October. Well over a month away so that would give myself plenty of time to accomplish this.
My second goal is to run a 1/2 Marathon.
Now to accomplish this I know that I will need to pack my lunch and snacks on a regular basis to keep temption at bay. That will keep my claories down. Also I know that I will need to make sure that I start a walk/run program in order to train for the 1/2 marathon. I shall make a point to attend at least 2 Jazzercise classes a week and walk/run for at least 2 times a week. More would definately be more beneficial but I will allow for life to happen as it always seems to get in the way. LOL
