I am at the point now that I really want to be healthy and slim. I never had a flat belly and want one so badly what are the best ways? And is it possible for me to achive flat abs?

Also..

Swimming 15-30 Minutes (every other day)
Lap swimming (freestyle, kickboard)
Pace High pace (rest 60 seconds ever 2 laps)

Strength Training
various weight machines in the gym. I do 3 set of 12.
Free weights (10pounds)
Also every other night I do a routine by Jillian Michaels. it’s a 20 Minute routine.

So why haven't I dropped that much just a few pounds! I just started this routine but I was doing elliptical/swimming and ST. Will I see something soon? I did start a food journal, i have to say I hate it but I am doing it. Also what are good foods to flatten my abs?

Also I am 5'6 ..my weight really is just my stomach and inner thighs. I have a ruler shape very straight down, no hips.

flatter belly

cut the carbs out of your diet, no sugar.  You're stomach will begin to flatter after about 7-10 days.  Track your food and keep the carbs under 50 grams per day.  Drink water  - lots of it!

You're exercise routine looks good.  I think you will be surprised with the changes if your will is strong enough to stay away from bread, potatoes, sugar and soda.

Good Luck!

Calories

Are you getting enough calories?  Yes you still want a deficit but with all the working out your doing you have to make sure you are getting enough calories or your body will stop losing weight.
