Day Three: Crazy co-workers....where's the straight-jacket?
i just had a conversation (LOUD) with a crazy co-worker (HEIFA!!) that felt she needed to "confront" me about not attending all the christmas parties, therefore not bringing gifts. well excuse the heck out of me! because my dept is broken down into departments, divisions, bureaus, units, and programs, we have TWELVE parties scheduled! each party wants you to bring a food/drink item and a $5 gift. HELLO? i'm no mathematician, but i do believe that's $60 worth of gifts plus $$ for the food items plus time to prepare/pickup the food items!! does she not see the problem with it being December 16th and we've already had 9 of the 12 christmas parties? really, does she not see that?? and then they have the audacity to have an after hours one on friday at applebees??!! what the hell??!!!
as a single parent of the Big One and the Little One, i refuse to add extra stress to myself and my budget. i have to take into consideration church christmas functions and the functions at the Big One's school and her girl scout troop. Those are the important and necessary functions for me NOT drinking apple cider with crazy heifas like her!!
WOOOOO-SAAAAA *finding my happy place*
p.s. in crazy co-workers defense, i knew she was crazy so i don't even know why i entertained the conversation with her...guess she's pulled me over to the crazy side.
