two weeks and 10.4 pounds down; 18 weeks to go

So today marks the end of 2 weeks on my challenge. The weight loss has been great! I have officially lost 10.4 pounds in the last 2 weeks! My only complain is that I am not working out as much as I had hoped. Well really im not doing much other than walking. I need to start doing more so that I can tone up my muscles... But I have been really good on my eating plan and i havent cheated once. 2 whole weeks with not flour, sugar, or processed foods! I havent even had any artificial sugar so no diet soda. That was probably the hardest to give up lol.

 

Any Way, things are going great and i hope that the next weeks to come are as successfull as the last two have been.

Day 1 a success!

Today was the first day of my 25 by 25 challenge. I am proud to say that I stuck to my food plan and did 45 minutes of cardio on my exercise bike. I had planned to do more exercise today but I am still pleased with myself. I know I can do this. Hope everyone else had an excellent day!

Christina's 25 by 25 Challenge!!

OK, so i haven't been on here in forever, and I am a little embarassed to say that I have put back on all the weight I lost earlier this year.

With the new year approaching, I have decided to get back on the ball and get back into a healthy lifestyle. I have developed a challenge for myself and have enlisted the help and support of my family and friends. I will be sharing my experiences on here as the challenge progresses.

Here's the Challenge. My 25th Birthday is coming up on May 24th. It is kind of a big one so I want to be looking and feeling good for it. The Challenge is to reduce my weight 25% by my 25th Birthday. I have 5 monthes to complete my goal. In order to reach my goal I need to loose 2.75 pounds per week. Wish me luck.

My step mom is helping me develop an eating program similar to the FA eating plan which involves no sugar or flour products. In addition to the eating plan, I will be putting together an exercise regimin to help me shed the pounds and tone up my body. All of the exercise will be done with the equipment I have at home since I dont have a gym membership.

Starting Date:  January 4th, 2009

Ending Date:   May 23rd, 2009

Total:  20 weeks

 

Starting Weight: 220lbs

Goal Weight:  165lbs

Goal Weightloss: 55pounds

2nd mini goal reached!

yay!

So, i have been mainly just maintaining between 200 and 205 for the last month or so. Pretty much ever since i went to mexico on april 26th. Well as of monday i decided to get back down to business and have been watching what i eat, and making sure i do a little cardio each day and it has been paying off!

I officially passed my second mini goal of 199 today when i weighed in at 197.6. Also for the first time as of yesterday i broke into onederland at 199.8!!

So things are going well. I still have about 65 days worth of phen left so i hope to pick up the pace a bit and get down as close to my goal weight as possible before then. I still need to loose 57.6 pounds to reach my ultimate goal. so far i have lost 24.4 pounds woo. so i am almost 1/3 of the way to my goal. things are good in the weight department right now. I will have my official weigh in on monday.

Weeks 5 & 6

Ok, so its been a while since i updated you all.  I went to mexico for a week, and just got back on sat. it was wonderful. however i have been sick ever since i got back :(.

I did not do measurements this week. i was feeling really crappy and couldnt muster up the energy to do it. so all i have for week 6 is weight loss and body fat, no inches. also i was not really trying very hard these last two week to loose. I basically just maintained.  Once i start feeling better, i will focus more on loosing again.

 

week 5 stats Monday April 28:

weight lost:  17.6 pounds

Inches lost:  36.00

Body fat lost:  3.2%

 

week six stats:

Weight lost:  18.00 pounds

Inches Lost:  N/A

Body Fat Lost:  3.9%

1st month done - 3 more left to get the weight off before im on my own

Well, I would like to say that I did excellent this past week, but that would be a lie lol. I did walk around spring lake once this week with my dog and my friends (which i found out was over 4 miles). Exercise wise thats all i did. At the start of the week i was doing really well. i got down to 204 at one point. but then starting friday and continuing through monday it was like i just didnt really care. I'm not sure why I got into this mood. I know i was stressing a lot about money because I'm going to mexico for a week on sat and I have ZERO money.

I think that was preoccupying my mind and i let it slip with the food. I ate Ice cream twice this weekend, had a mocha, cheesits, a huge plate of pasta with garlic bread and even chinese takeout! I was so bad, and it showed on the scale big time. I went right back up, and ended up wieghing more this week than i did last week. Although my inches did go down, so that was good :)

Here are my results for week 4 / month 1:

Total Weight lost: 15.4 pounds

Total Body Fat Lost: 3.5%

Total inches lost: 33.75

I really want to be good the rest of the week because i already know mexico is going to be a challenge. I already plan on bringing my scale with me lol. My friends are gonna think im so weird haha. Any way, thats my sort of progress :).

On a sad note, my fish died yesterday for no reason which was a big bummer. I'm going to wait a while before i get a new one. Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Week 3 Measurements

Today was the end on 3 weeks on phentermine. The weightloss is starting to slow down, but i am still loosing, so i am very happy. here are my stats for today:

 

Weight 206.4

Lost 15.6 pounds (since i started)

 

Body fat 32.2%

Lost 3.5% (since i started)

 

Total inches lost 26.25  (Since i started)

 

Yay, still going strong. pretty soon i think i will start working out for real lol. Right now I'm just walking a few times a week. I want to work more on my legs, as they are changing the least inch-wise. Wish me luck :)

I feel really good today! Yesterday i ate really healthy and went on a two hour walk with my mom and friend, and our dogs. I also got the results back from my biopsies. My doctor said that one was clear and the other came back CIN1 which is what we were hoping for. Which means no dysplasia or malignant cells, and no LEEP procedure!! I just have to keep going back for my repaps every 4-6 monthes to monitor it. That really took a lot of stress off me. I dont have health insurance and FAM Pac doesnt cover LEEP, so i was worried about how much i would have to pay out of pocket.

On top of all that, I weighed myself today and after 4 days of not loosing even 1 point of a pound, I was down 1 whole pound. I hate when i hit a standstill. it kinda makes me a little less motivated. But now things are moving again and I am SUPER happy about it.

I'm also excited cause this weekend, my mom and i are going to check out a park that i've never been to called ragle ranch. I'm going to be having my birthday BBQ there next month, so i wanted to check it out and get a map, so that i can give good directions on the invites.

Thats it. Its beautiful outside today, and I wish i could be out there enjoying it, but I'm in a great mood regardless :)

Yay, so today was my week two weigh in and measurement day!

Body Fat: -2.4%

wOO! So far I am very pleased with the results. I hope to reach my second mini goal of 199 by the time i leave for Mexico on 4/26. If I keep going at the rate I've been going, I know I'll be able to do it :)

I reached my first mini goal today!!

I am so happy today!

I passed my first mini goal this morning. I weighed in this morning at 209.6! My first mini goal was to reach 210. Yay!
