Night time munchin

Yuck last night I back tracked and woke up in the middle of night and ate carbs carbs.  Carmel flavored bugles that normally I think taste gross but were heaven last night and a dinner roll.  A total of about 450 calories.  Today yuck I feel bloated.  I think being overly tired and worn out doing to many things during the course of the day was the cause.  I also sleep restless after eating at night so that was another minus to the situation.  Anyhow reminder to self STOP NIGHT TIME EATING IT IS NOT WORTH IT

Resolutions

So I'm a bit late on starting my healthy eating and weight loss plan but my everyday jeans don't fit anymore now that was enough to scare me into getting back on track.

First 10K

I'm finding ways to motivate a healthy lifestyle and came across an annual event in our state.  The Duke City Marathon.  I remember my mom doing the half marathon when I was a kid.  For now I've decided to do the 10k which is a little over 6 miles.  My sister is running with me and said she can complete this distance in 40 minutes.  I jog regularly for about an 1 hour 2-3 days a week.  Now I just need a pedometer to figure out the minutes per mile deal.  I'm excited and scared.  Maybe next year will be the half marathon.  Anyhow there website is http://www.dukecitymarathon.com if you want to check it out.

yuck

Yuck Yuck and Yuck.  After a long weekend of piggin out on tortilla and potatoe chips potatoe salads and bean burrittos I'm disgusted with the scale and myself once again.  Well heres to another week of working hard at counting my calories and working out.  Never-ending..

water weight

So I had been eating a large amount of salty chips and dairy over the past 2 days but was being physically active painting my house and cleaning for a family party this Sunday.  After one day of eating no dairy or salt and drinking plenty of iced lemon water and plain pinto beans I went from 124 to 119.8 which shocked me.  Happy and amazed at all the water weight lost.  I just need to continue to skip the chips and eat smaller portions of dairy if not omit it completely.

Maybe this blog will help me...

I'm a tad discouraged and decided to join this site after loosing 7 lbs and then gaining it all back over the course of the summer.  I'm hoping that the tools and groups will help motivate me and support my efforts.  I'm also hoping the weight, calorie and activity logs will hold me accountable for my own dietary ruts.
