It has been a busy last couple of days. One of my best friends in high school and I had lost touch when we went to college. Well, we found each other again. She has a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. Great ages to play with my boys...so we had a play date. It was so much fun to be with others. Its so amazing how we found each other, just when we both needed a friend.
Ok, for those that arent observant, I posted new pics on my profile. Please do not laugh. I just wanted to show my improvements body wise. I am starting to like who I am becoming. Its been a long time since I have liked myself. The pants in that picture are a size 24 (god bless) and I tried them on the other day, just for jollies..and started to walk, and they fell completely to my hips....bypassed the camel hump that most of you know as a rear. I couldnt believe it. We went to Old Navy the other day...and they had capri's on sale for 3 bucks. The only size they had relatively close to what I am now is a 16. Ya know buy them to give me something to work for. I got home, tried them on...and they fit...they were SNUG..but they fit...now my goal is to get into them and breathe. Its wonderful the little things that can make you feel good.

Great re-kindling ole friendships
I love hearing stories about friends who lost touch and then re-kindle. I think your story about the pants is so funny, cause lately my jogging pants have been sliding off when I work out ...tank god i do workouts at home ...currently using a safety pin:)...You are such an inspiration from a size 24 to a size 16....that's awesome !!!!...take care

What an amazing feeling that must be! You are doing wonderful and I'm so glad that you are sharing your progress (and pictures!) with us. It makes me want to stay on track so that I'll have some pictures to share. Good job, keep it up!

Your jeans are falling off and I know that's a great feeling! You're doing awesome and keep up the work! That size 16 capris will be falling off you before you know it.
Wow, a size 24 to a size 16... GO YOU! That's so impressive! I myself am still at a 20, even though I could probably button an 18... no reason to kill myself though! haha. I have a pair of american eagle jeans that are a size 16 that back in the day made my butt look AMAZING! can't wait until I can get back into those! :-)
Hi Chick, I was taking the Pendimetrazine 3 times a day 35 mg each dose.. the side effects are pretty crazy, nervousness, dry mouth, stomach ache, no sleep, headache, all of which are supposed to go away in about a week but unfortunately I had to stop taking the pills on my 2nd day because I was having chest pain which isnt one of the normal side effects.. I just wrote a blog about my ER visit yesterday.. I dont know if i'll be able to go back on the medicine at all :( I did the whole Phen fen thing years ago..havent tried Phentermine alone and I dont think my DR will put me on it after what i've been thru with this stuff i was taking.. You seem to be doing great on your program and I wish you lots of luck!
