Ever have one of those days, where you have lots to say but cant figure out how to put it into words? Well today is the day for me. Yes, I Gail...am really at a loss for words. Well how to express them.
My mind is muddled today, and honestly...i dont feel like doing much. I have named today..."my forget the weight loss today, enjoy the day and eat what i want to get it out of my system" day. Hub is making meatloaf for dinner, and I must say...I taught him well. So, if hes cooking..why not enjoy it?
I get these really down days, followed by many good days. When I get down, it feels like I have been kicked in the gut, and just want to be...to do nothing, to be nothing. My hormones out of whack might have something to do with it...damn TOM!!! Who knows. Anxiety overwhelms me...I dont want to be alone, I just feel jittery, like waiting for the shoe to fall. Makes sense? Probably not in everyone else world..but its typical for mine.
I hope you all have a great day.
Love, Anxiety Ridden

What can I say?
We are women - very complex creatures with many mood swings. I'm sure every single one of us can relate quite well with what you're trying to express. Take it easy and ride with it. Have a great weekend!
I understand how you are feeling. Not that you were asking permission, but it's okay to have a splurge day here and there. Go for it! Enjoy that meatloaf. Homemade meatloaf is one of my faves. I hope you have a couple good days this weekend, though. And LOTS next week!
I too have those days where I feel that I can side step the diet a bit. You need that in your life. It is like a rewrad. It also helps you to learn to control your eating. You want to be able to eat whatever you want, and you can in moderation. Good for you, havwe your "Cheat" day.
You seem to be having a "TOM" day! It's okay; I think all of us women deal with that from time to time. I know I do! With all we go through, we deserve a day every now and then to mope and do as we please!
Don't worry, we all have days like that. So forget about everything today and enjoy the day with your family! Thats whats going to make you feel better, so put up your feet and relax: D
Have a wonderful weekend and take it easy for a couple of days! It actually may help you feel better: D
(((((((((BIG HUGS))))))))))).......yah! I know thats a lot of hugs! hang in there girlie: D
we picked similar titles for our posts! I know what your feeling, I am right there and should have tom any day now. Sucks! BTW tell jas to save me some meatloaf LOL
Go ahead, slap some mashed potatoes and gravy on the meatloaf! One day is not going to kill ya. Get comfort from hubby, kiddos, & food--start w/ a fresh slate tomorrow. Forgetting today ever happened.
I get exactly like this. I thought I was going to have to seek out a shrink, lol. TOM truly sucks. Well, it's a good thing you taught your hubby well. The anxiety only seems to go away once TOM leaves town, so just sit back relax and be pampered! Have a great weekend or shall I say - at least try! :)
I too feel like that sometimes...UGH the other night I made my hubby something and i wanted to eat all of it and not stop till i exploded...but then i thought what's the point ..to be Stuffed and feel disgusted? UGH
BUT...i did have a portion ..a small one...and not seconds and thirds and fourths like the old days of being a lard ass ...
I say go enjoy your meatloaf....enjoy it eat it...you know when you have had your fill or more then enough..you'll be ok :)
You are totally not alone, I'm rate there with you. My TOM was so bad this month, that the building up of it made me think I was pregant again, I even had a blood test(which rate after they drew it I started) to find out if I wasn't. Then it hit and I hate life. Even without TOM though, it's life to go up and down, so just hang in there, listen to your kids laugh, run out in the sprinklers or jump rope, do something outragous and you'll feel better.
...and tell him that he needs to get in the kitchen and cook for me too! Meatloaf is so yummy. It's one of those feel good foods that taste especially delicious during TOM. I think a splurge day is a good idea. Deprivation makes people fall off plans and you do so well a splurge day now and then won't affect your weight loss goals. I hope you enjoyed yourself (and the meatloaf) this past weekend.
I have those days too! They're the worst. Or sometimes I just want to crawl out of my skin because I feel like it's suffocating me. And a million other weird hormonal things. It will pass though, I just hope you're feeling better!
