I think I am going to cover several topics in todays blog! Lol...my mind is rambling to many different things, its here, there and everywhere...so eh, why not! Its my blog!
Dieting/Weight loss: I slept in this morning and missed breakfast, which for me is the hardest meal of the day to force myself to eat. Im just at a loss for what to eat. On todays menu, we have roast and carrots, green beans and mash potatoes. Yea those fatty potatoes can go on someone elses plate! Im trying to up my water intake. I drink about 5 bottles a day but thats not enough...but I feel as if I could yack water!
Kids (this is always a fun topic): Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for my son...he is feeling better today. So good infact hes upstairs torturing his big brother right now! Any of you parents out there have good potty training advice..hey i figured yall are good with weight loss...why not try my luck at pottying. My son is 3..and he will pee in the potty but wont do the other business in the potty. It is frustrating! Just when we think we have a reign on the situation...here he is throwing the wipes at us, saying ok, i done..change me! Yea! the little chithead! So any and all advice or tips is welcome!
You guys Rock!! And Im so thankful I found this site!!!

water...
I know what you mean about the water. I use to be like that too. However, I have noticed that now if I don't drink my water..I start to crave it. It also helps with cravings too and it makes me feel full so that I don't eat. Good work though! Keep it up! Don't ever give up! =]
when you can lay in the bath tub and you realize your fat is floating
I'll never take a bath again...untill I'm skinny that is. Too funny.
Hope you have a great day!
That's why I like swimming for exercise! I feel so light.....until I hop out of the water....lol. I've stopped drinking my southern-style REALLY sweet tea and am doing water. I think that's why I lost 4 pounds....just from less sugar. Oh woe is me...there is no EASY way to get skinny!
One tip I found on a message board I read is that breakfast doesn't have to be breakfast food. Quite a few of the ladies eat dinner leftovers and lunch type foods instead of trying to eat any typical breakfast foods. I don't have the problem, quite opposite, because breakfast foods are my most favorite foods EVER. Maybe trying to eat something you like would help? Or maybe you are like my mom and the thought of food that early is yucky no matter what it is?
I'm glad your little boy feels better. I am with you on breakfast. I'm clueless!! This morning I had special k with fat free milk, it was like eating cardboard with water!! I forced myself to eat it anyway. Do you feel like the phen is working yet? Have a good week!!
I'm laughing about the fat floating thing. Why did you make us think about that? WHY?
As far as potty training...hmmm....I don't know what to tell you. We had "issues" with my daughter and then one day, she just decided she was ready. I think it's more up to them than you.
Oh, you know if you put the space in the wrong spot when you're typing "it's more" that it comes out it s'more. S'MORES. YUM! Everything is about food!
Have yo tried putting the poop in the potty when he is done? Sometimes that reminds them. I use candy to bribe mine to sit on the potty. He has not done anything on it yet but sitting is step one.
This is kid number 4 and it is still one of the hardest things I have had to do as a mom. No control over the situation what so ever.
Thanks for the reality check *sob*. Made me think of something I don't want to think about lol. And if it floats so well, then why is it so darn heavy?!?! *Sigh* Anyway, I appreciate your posts. I am new to this site and you were the first friendly face to leave me a comment so I am thankful. Your boys are precious! Take care!
I'm doing South Beach and sometimes it is really hard to figure out what I'm doing for breakfast. I've found that if I eat protein instead of cereal that it fills me up and I have less cravings. A hard boiled egg is very filling. I also like a few slices of deli meat (turkey or ham or something). Sometimes I'll add a drinkable yogurt to that (only 60 calories!).
The pooping thing is harder. My daughter had troubles with that. I couln't put a pull-up on her because then she wouldn't go on the potty at all. She hated to leave her playing to go to the potty. I started doing a time out if she went in her pants. That helped a bit. I just think most of it was a fear... I think most kids have an aversion to actually pooping on the potty. She eventually stopped going. We are still battleing the overnight wetting, though. She was good with that for quite a long time, but now we can't get it to stop. She's almost 4 1/2.
