Before After

It stopped raining

Well it rained the entire weekend here in Chicago - and not just a little it really poured so no bike ride Fri, Sat or Sun.  I did go today for 13.3 miles and I also went to the gym in the AM for 45 minutes of cardio.  I had my official wi on Sat morning at 6:40 and I was down 2.6 which was great but aparently there is something really wrong with my plumbing, I came home and had to use the facilities and then I was down another 2 pounds.  I had issues all day and all day Sunday but I really don't want to take Imodium since it has the opposite effect on me and I probably wouldn't need to use the restroom for a week.

The DH and I went out to the far suburbs on Saturday, really the country about an hour away to a farm that was having a special U Pick for the Slow Food organization and it wasn't raining there and we picked a ton of stuff all for 30 dollars.  I have sooo many tomatoes I have made homemade chili sauce and green tomato relish.  I have also made a bunch of fresh tomato sauce one with eggplant.  Yum!!  Going to my kettleball class tomorrow and that is the only one for this week, I am off to NYC on Thursday so I may take 3 the next week to make up for the 1 I miss.  I loaded up on Jenny food since I won't be back there for 2 weeks and I haven't eaten any of it yet.  Tomorrow is the day - I have been eating fine but just all my own food since I have so many yummy vegetables.  It has cooled off here only 60's this afternoon, I had to find my biking pants.  It is supposed to get warmer tomorrow.   I think I am going for a quick bike ride in the morning before I take the DH to work.  I am off to see what is new with the EP site and read some blogs.  Hope everyone is off to a good start for the week.

Good rain

We had a good rain here on Saturday, the slow kind that really soaks the ground and makes everything nice and green.  Your tomato adventure sounds like it was fun, we have been harvesting some of our tomatoes.....some have some issues.....we need to study up on tomato growing issues in North Texas and get a better crop next year.  congrats on the loss, I know what you mean about Imodium!
