Before After

rain maybe

Well I put off my bike ride because it looked like rain and guess what it hasn't rained, it is just really humid and gray but no rain I could have gone and been back by now.  I am going to go to the burbs to pick up a prescription and then see what it looks like when I get back.  I did really well at dinner out last night once again no drinks YEAH!!  I had edamame, about 7 pieces of sushi - mostly veg a couple smoked salmon I had cevice and then when we came home a little Edys ligh ice cream stuff.  Today the scale is down 1.9 pounds since my wi on Monday.  I am psyched, going back tomorrow for my official wi and today is totally on track, no dinner out the DH and I are going to a movie and that is always a big help for me I get out of the house(away from the food) and I can avoid the popcorn and by the time the movie is over and we get home so tired I go to bed.  We are planning on seeing Traitor looks good.  I am going for a walk later rain or no rain.  I am trying to figure out when to make a trip to the country.  I am a member of Slow Food and here in Chicago they have an event where you can go out to this real farm and Upick a bunch of veg - tomatoes, peppers, eggplant etc all for $20 a bushel.  I have been meaning to do some canning - salsa, relishes etc. and this would be perfect great veg and not sooo expensive like it is at the Farmers Market.  Can you tell I grew up in Iowa - yes I know how to can and actually have the equipment.  The humidity today actually reminds me of being a kid and being stuck in the kitchen freezing corn and making pickles. Hope everyone has great weekend plans
