Failed Detox

I did really good the first day and a half, eating only veggies and brown rice and fruit  of course.  But the food didnt sustain me long.  I realize that is the reason why ur suppose to eat 5 times a day.  That is much easier said than done in college.  I have a pretty tight schedule Sunday - Friday, excluding Thursday.  I'll grab an apple or banana to snack on after dinner.  The problem is I am up until 2,3,4 in the morning, and I eat dinner at the latest 8.  The snack does not hold me over, and I end up consuming something against my diet.  What am I to do?

 

By the way,  I need to weigh myself.

I cant do detoxes very well

Me, too. I am terrible at detoxes. I have never tried the fat smash cuz it seems too restrictive. I have done some of my own detoxes where I eat only healthy food and have no restrictions but yet I still end up going off of them after a few days. It is hard. I think humans are wired for sugar and fat and this is why we can't do it. Of course it's 90% mental too so that is some of it. Sometimes even our best intentions can get screwed up either by other people pushing food or just by being tempted by something we long for. For me it's beer. I just crave the stuff on a regular basis and then end up overeating once I got a good buzz going on.
