Weigh In Day

Today is my official weigh in day and I am rather pleased to see that I am down 3.8 pounds.   I am really hoping this trend will continue, but I do know there will be good weeks and bad weeks, that's just the way it goes in life.  I did pretty well last week with sticking to my points, although at times it was hard.  I had forgotten just how the things that I love to eat are sooooooo bad for me!!!  I am going to be heading to the grocery this morning, and I have my handy WW calculator so I can figure up points of things before they even enter my shopping cart.  I have to find some low calorie snacks again so when I have that craving I can just grab a 1 point snack.  Well this is all I have to report on this Monday!:)

Back to dieting

Ok, I completely stopped the diet in 2009, and of course when I did that the weight came back!  But it's a new year and time to get back on track!!  I have started my food journal and will keep track of my points like I should be doing!  I have thought about joining WW online again, but I think if I can keep food journal and track points then I should be able to do just as well without paying for WW.  But if I seem to fail at it, I will join again, as it makes me accountable for what I put into my mouth!!!  So here's to day 1 of dieting!!!!

Twenty gone

I finally reached one my main goes.......losing 20#!!   it's such a great feeling!!!  Now I only have 80# more.........it's going to take a long time, but that's ok.........if it comes off slow I have a better chance of keeping the weight off!   16.5 pounds and I am in onderland..........I haven't been there for YEARS!  I can't even imagine what it will feel like!!!!  I am noticing that some of my shirts are getting kind of big on me.......love that!!   So it's been a good day!!!:) 

Vacation

Well vacation is now over!:(  We have been back from our road trip for several days, but it still felt like vacation because of dd and dh being home.  We had a great time, and lots of good food!ha   I really tried hard to keep to my points, but with some of the places that we ate it was almost impossible. Plus I could not refuse some of the very yummy food!!   But I am happy to report that my weight was down today for weigh in!!  I am down a total of 18.1 pounds!!  I can't wait to hit the 20# mark.........it's just around the corner!!  And then once I hit that goal, my next goal is to hit the 10% weight loss mark. My target daily points went down for WW as well, so that's progress!!  So a good Monday over all!! 

Making Progress

The progress is slow, but it's steady!  Today the scale said 219, which is great!! That would be a 17.5 loss!   I am not logging it though because I just don't believe it yet!LOL  If it's still there tomorrow morning I will happily log it, but until I see that number for 2 days I won't feel comfy!  I am getting closer to onederland!  I know part of my problem is lack of exercise and water.   So I have increased my water intake, but I still HATE exercising!LOL  I don't think that will ever change!!  Once the weather warms up I will be able to take daily walks with my daughter. But until then I am not very motivated to exercise! 

well that's all I have to report!:)  Next week we are going on vacation and I am hoping I can stick to my WW points!  We have talked about the various places we are going to eat, so I have an estimate of points that I will use!  Just keeping my fingers crossed that I can stick with it!!  I am thinking of packing my scale so I can monitor my weight daily!!!LOL   Until next time....

Thursday

Good Morning!  I haven't blogged recently because I just haven't had much to report on my weight loss/gain.   Monday was weigh in for WW and I was down a pound, not as much as I wanted, but as long as it's down I will take it!   I have been a little aggravated with my scales.......I replaced the battery thinking that might be the problem, but that didn't seem to help.  The other day I got on the scales and it had me at 219#.......I was ready to pick it up and kiss it!LOL  But I knew that couldn't be possible because just the day before it had read 224#, so I got off and back on, and it went up to 222#, so I got off again and back on and it was up to 226#......I did this a bit more and had me back up to 228.5#, which would have been a gain at that point!!  I am beginning to think this digital scale is just not accurate!!  My wonderful dh bought me the old fashioned dial one, none of that high tech digital stuff!LOL  I am not sure how accurate those are though......anyone know?  I figure it must be pretty accurate since you can zero it in every time before you get on it!  Anyway, it usually weighs me 3 pounds less then the digital and even more when the digital has gone wacky and has me gain a pound a minute!! I love the dial one though because it's reading me at 220# this morning, which would be SUPER!!!  So I don't know which one to believe!!!

I did some shopping last friday!  I needed a new pair of jeans, and I was very happy that i was able to get in a pair 2 sizes smaller then what I had been buying!!!WOO HOO What's funny is I took back 3 pairs, all the same size.....one fit perfect, one a little snug,and the 3rd one wouldn't go up over my big hips and butt!  Love the sizing consistancy!!hehe    And I was able to get tops that were a size smaller!!  That felt good.  I bought several of the shirts since they were on clearance at Kohls for 3.60!!!  Can't beat that!!LOL 

Well hope everyone has a happy Thursday!!  I hope to be a better blogger and write more frequently and keep up with my friends blogs!!!  There just isn't enough time in a day sometimes!:)

Sunday

Well my scale is not being nice to me this weekend!!LOL  I don't think I will make my goal of 15 pounds by the end of this month.  But that will not get me down...I will keep trying!!! I do want to purchase a piece of exercise equipment, any suggestions?  I was thinking elliptical, but not sure!  I have a treadmill, I just get bored with it, and wanted something else to help me along!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

Staying motivated

I had my weigh in yesterday and was at 225.5!!  That's down 11 pounds, so I am extremely happy!!!  My goal is to be down 15 by the last day of the month. I think that is reachable goal as long as I stay on track....only 4 more pounds to the goal line!!  The last couple of days I have just been so darn hungry!!  I am staying with in my points, and refuse to go over no matter HOW hungry I might be!  Thank goodness for 1 point snacks that I can eat and at least take the edge off my hunger and desire for chocolate.  Hope everyone is having a great week so far!!!

My goal was to be down 10# by yesterday, and I was actually down 9.5#!!  So close!!!  I am thrilled with the amount of weight i have lost so far, and continue to be extremely motivated!!  WW is truly a new way of living versus actually dieting.  I really need to start working on my water intake. I can usually get about 32-48oz in a day, but I would like to get that up to 64oz!  So my goals for the next 4 weeks is to lose 10.5#, that would equal 20# for 2 months, and then to also increase my water intake!!:)  I can do it!!! 

Week 3 of WW

Today is my official 3rd week of weight watchers, so I had to get on the scale and see how it was going!  I am happy to report I am down 8 pounds!!!!  I had gained a pound on Monday, and was pretty discouraged,  but that also motivated me to work a little harder and exercise a little more and it's paid off!!!  I can now see that my goal of 10 pounds for the first month is possible!!!I I also have a wonderful support group in my family and friends.......that keeps the motivation going as well!  I will be skinnier for my trip to Myrtle beach in July!!yeah!!!
