A dating story
Last Friday I decided to ask Travel Guy if he wanted to do something (it was 11ish). After an hour of trying to convince him, he drove to my place and we met up for a midnight stroll and a good talk =) He surprisingly talked more than I had expected and I was pretty happy about that..we had a good time sharing thoughts and laughing. It was a good first meeting and loved that it was spontaneous like that, it's always better on the nerves. lol I hugged him goodbye and slept at about 1:15am. The next morning i had my hair cut and layered and it looked hideous. You girls would of laughed so hard. LOL My hair was all puffy and i looked like a rich bitch..so when I came back home i jumped in the shower to make it right again. lol
I had a fever all day Saturday and I started to feel nauseous after 6pm...and since I had a date at 8:30, I didnt want to cancel on him so I still went. lol Despite my fever and trying real hard not to throw up, it went really well...we whispered comments and laughed during the movie..but...he's so shy! He didnt even make a move on me. lol Better, he didnt even buy my movie ticket!! Which really made me think "oook...mr cheapskates" lol but I think he's just really really shy and nervous....because he obviously has an interest in me. Long story short, I only survived the movie and asked him to give me a ride back home. lol....So there I was, a few minutes after my date.. in my apartment building's elevator and thinking out loud: What the heck...he didnt even pay for my ticket?! lol
I find this funny because I always tell my girlfriends that if a guy is interested in you, he'll pay for you. But this guy is totally different so it really throws my theory out of the window. lol *sigh* Why can't I get simpler men =P But I'm drawn by the fact that he's taking things sooo slow and wonder if this man is really worth it because..I seriously think he is. We have so much stuff in common and have fun talking and being around eachother that I don't see how I can't wait a week or two more for him to get out of his shell. Anyhoo, going back to the story, I received an email from him on Sunday morning telling me that he had a great time in my company and then he asks me if i'd want to do something with him sometime this week or this weekend. lol THEN he suggests I come over to HIS place for a scary movie and some red wine (knowing very well that I cant handle a lot of wine). haha..so while I'm reading this I'm thinking "Finally......" lol....I'll sit close to him and take hold of his arm at the first sign of scariness. How about that. lol Gosh...as long as he loosens up a little being in his own condo and having a lil wine. lol We havent had a decent head-to-head so this will be interesting.....and who knows, he might even kiss me. (I'm so devilish..I know he's shy and I seem to like seeing him get nervous about all of these dating things and I want him to make the moves himself so he can have a lil more confidance in himself in the long run ;P )

- He's 27, going on 28 this December
- He's 6'0", normal built, manly looking. lol..
- He's got a nice voice that makes me feel at ease with him
- He might need help in the clothing department LOL
- He smells darn good
- He makes me laugh and laughs at what I say
- He's a gadget loving guy..he even has that robot floor cleaner like Shelley lol..
- He seems like a really decent and caring guy
- I find him hot (bwahaha)
- He's got sexy hands (don't ask..i'm weird)
- I still have no idea how he kisses yet or really gazed into his eyes soo...to be continued ladies!!
