Thank You For Your Support

I definitely didn't plan on blogging today, seeing how I just began my weight loss plan yesterday, but after reading these words of encouragement I had to blog.

We all know how it feels to be the "fat one" in a skinny world (actually it's not skinny since the average size is 14, but I digress), so I am thrilled and absolutely PROUD to see so many of you loving yourself and going on this journey.  I can't thank you enough for encouraging me even though you're going through your own struggles.  It goes to show how great a community EP can be.

Again, thank you so much; you've just made me shed tears of joy!    This is the only crying symbol I could find so imagine it's a happy face with tears, lol!

Yeay!!

Congrats on training for your first race!! It's great "moto"!!  Excellent decision!  Even if you don't like running (*raises hand very high*) they can be very addicting thanks to how wonderful you feel after.... with your accomplishment, not just the endorphins!

I ran my first, it was an 8k, in March 06. I'm running the turkey trot next week, and I'm going to find a jingle bell race to run before x-mas (helps with the holiday weight ) After that, I'm thinking I might pick something a little bigger for the spring....a 1/2 marathon maybe?  I don't think the distance even matters, just really gives you something to work towards, you know?!

Best of luck to you and your journey!! ....and remember what my DH always says "Pain is weakness leaving the body!"

Welcome to EP!

Being on EP really helps you to see that there are people who are going through the same things as you.  In the skinny world we live in, this place is a soft place to fall!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!  I'll be checking on you! You can do this!  Never give up!
