September is here already

Wow, this summer just flew by.  For the most part I am very happy with myself.  I am 3pds from my goal weight.  My date was originally July 1st...  Ha ha ha..  Did not make goal but I am still working.  I know in the long run the longer it takes is probably better for my body.  I am thin enough now anyway.  Now starts the life long goal of maintaining.  I know that will be very hard for me.  It is a state of mind I have to get into.  I have to always think before I eat.   We are getting busy with fall yard work, Abbey is back in school and Noah and I have a few projects so September should be a fun busy month!

Changed the date again

5pds to go!  It will take forever!  But I will not give up!

This summer has been so busy with the kids.  I have Abbey back in school the house is a mess and Noah is making more messes! 

I have enough work to do around here to burn off plenty of calories!

Hair loss!

First let me say that the last time I lost a large amount of weight that I had this problem.  It is normal for my body.  I am loosing hair now too.  Do any of you do this?  I take hair skin and nail vitamins.  That is what my stylest told me to do last time and it helped.  There is something missing from diet...  yeah food...lol..

No -I need to add back something to get it to stop.  Just interested in your opinions and if any of you are having this problem on your diets.  I know it will stop but it just seems worse this week.  I have a head full of thick hair but still would like to keep it!

 

CHANGE THE DATE NOT THE GOAL

I don't think it will be possible to loose 11pds by Saturday.  Instead of giving up and settling I am just giving my self more time.  I am very happy with myself but I want to finally complete what I started!  This summer has been so busy and fun already.

I am still not tired of dieting.  I know that in a way I will be on a diet forever.  Maybe not as strict but certain foods and habits can not return to my life or I will gain all this weight back!

Saturday is My sons 2nd bday and I am so thrilled to be able to look at the pics from this day and see a skinny momma instead of cropping me out of all of them...lol...

The last leg of the race!

Is driving me nuts!  Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with myself but I want to completly complete my goal.  Well 13pds is not going to drop off by July 1st considering I have lost about 2pds this month!  But I will keep on till I get it.  I may have to extend my goal but I will hang in there!  I need to start working out more.  I am so busy with the kids and planning birthday parties.  We are swimming a couple of days a week but that consist of carrying my 2yr old around in the water instead of swimming laps.  I should have huge arm muscles by now but strangely I don't.  Hope everyone is having a good summer.  I am busy taking Abbey back and forth to bible school this week!  I can not believe July is almost here!

WOO HOO NO SCHOOL

I love it!  Abbey is out of school.  No more getting up at 6am.....

I have till July 1st to loose 16 more pounds.  I may not make it but I will not change my goal just my goal date!  I will aim for 10 more by then and if I happen to get the 16 off than yippee!

I am loving the loss of weight and love it when people look at me and say hey how you loosing so much weight!

 

The best workout machine

Don't go out and spend thousands or join a gym.  Babysit my almost 2yr old son!  Carry this 30pd toddler up and down the stairs about 7times a day.

Chase him when he gets his sisters toothbrush to brush the cat.

Reload the dishwasher four times because he can unlock it.  OH and he can put dirty spoons in the drawer for you to find later on...  yuck...

If I kept up with the calories I burn toddler chasing I could make a video...  Instead of walk away the pounds.  It could be babysit away the pounds...

My closet

I spent some time Monday in my closet going thru all my summer clothes.  I have so many different sizes in there.  I was very proud that I was able to wear my favorite size 8 skirt.  I can't fit into all my size 8 clothes yet.  It really just depends on how they are made and by who.  I still feel so motivated.  I am not even close to being burnt out on this diet.  I feel like I am really making some forever changes.  That is the only way I will be able to stay a size 8 or 6!!  I have gotten to a place in my mind where food is not entertainment.  Everyone has differant body types and are overweight for various reasons but I think the main cause is just overeating and dormant lifestyles.  Food is good!  Desserts can be a wonderful sensation.  I have to stay in the frame of mind that will not allow me to be drawn back into that cycle.  Sure it is ok to treat yourself from time to time.  But don't lie to yourself about the reasons you are overweight.  I have done that so many times.  It is amazing the excuses you can come up with.  In reality it is just your determination and will power.  Few are blessed that never have to worry about weight gain.  The majority of us do.  Eating to much or unhealthy is a choice just like smoking or drinking.  Now I understand there are health issues.  I am not judging anyone but myself.  I plan on marking the years I stay thin just like an alcholic would celebrate the years of sobriety they have.  That may sound obsessive but overeaters have the same temptations that alcoholics have with negative effects on health as well.

On the verge....

of breaking 160!  I just knew today would be the day...  But what a mean Aprils fools day joke my scale played...

I wanted the scale to say 159 sooo bad!!!!  but it went to 159.8 then popped back up to 160.

I tried to weigh three more times.  still 160.

arghhhh!  I hate the plateaus.  But that is the peaks and valleys of being on a diet.  I just know I will break 160 by Monday!!  There is just something about weighing in the 150's that sounds so much better than 160...ha ha ha

well off to clean the house and burn some calories!

Slacker Blogger!

I have not gotten the hang of this blogging stuff.  It seems to be all the rage these days.  People are blogging about everything under the sun...  Well, speaking of sun...  Where is our sun?  It is spring...  To bad it is 30 degrees outside....  Speaking of my SON, he is making alot of noise in the living room....  Watching the Garfield DVD for the 27th time in 2 days.... Better than the Indcredibles.  WE have seen it 47 times.  I am thinking of running to Walmart to get Chicken Little just to save my sanity.  I have not seen it even once.  Then in a few days I am sure I will be saying "If I have to watch that stupid chicken movie one more time I will........"  This kid gets stuck on one thing and it is all he thinks about... 

The diet is going great.  Not as fast as I hoped.  But I hoped to wake up and be skinny overnight...lol...  I will tuff it out.  I am not going anywhere.  If it takes all year so be it.  I predict by April 11th which will be the end of the 2nd month that I will have lost 25pds.  Not to shabby.  Just 30 to go after that...  give or take a few.

One more week of peace and quiet then it is Spring break for my 7yr old.  I love her to pieces but she sure can cause a ruckus around here.  Atleast we will not have to get up at 6am for a few days anyway...

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  I am going to see what little man is up to now!  He took off from the toy room with his toy vacuum so he may have made a mess!!!!!
