Weigh in tonight

It's Tuesday! Weigh in tonight! I don't think I did too horribly this week. I did have take out a few times, but made good choices I think, and I've been kicking up the exercise.

We have a gym at work and I have been going at lunch almost every day ( I say almost because it doesn't always pan out for other reasons). But I only get a 30 minute lunch so this means quick quick quick in order to get a decent work out in. We also have an elliptical trainer at home, which between my DH and I does get used at least once a day. Imagine that, exercise equipment that actually gets used. I do find that the work out I get at home is much better than at work - I think our equipment might be better? But working out at lunch is easier because we've got a little one at home and evenings put him as a priority. He's cute though, so I certainly don't mind.

Anyhow, I did work out at home last night and it was a good work out - lots of sweat, good heart rate. I watched Antiques Roadshow, which was oddly a good choice because no commercials on PBS, there is no period of time where you're just waiting for the commercials to end.

So we'll see tonight how I did. I had a coworker comment that I look skinnier, although I really haven't gone down much in the last month, but it could be my body adjusting to working out more and eating less and healthier. We'll see!

I hope you're still hanging in there!!!  Are you still doing your workouts at work and at home?

I've gotten pretty "lazy" this last month.  I've been losing, but very slowly!  I know that I need to "step-it-up" (exercise and food) to be able to do better.  I like losing between 1 to 2 lbs./week, but all I've been losing here lately is around 1 lb./wk!!!   At least they're losses, right?

Enough about that!!!  Let's both try to do better for the month of May, okay?  Just don't give up.  Weigh in and start anew!!!  That's what I'm going to do this week!!  Good luck, hon!!!   MB
