Oh well!

Well I knew I was going up a little - up 1 lb. But that's okay. First of all, I knew I was going up some - I just wasn't that good last week. I wasn't horrible, but I could have focused better. Second I think exercising helped to make sure it wasn't a lot worse!

I think when I accept in advance that my behaviour will cause my weight to go up a little then it's easier to not beat myself up over it and just focus on the coming week and getting back on track. I know this week I can do better, exercise more and next week I will be down.

Also I think for a lot of people weight loss has a few ups now and then. My husband on the other hand has lost 17 lbs already! He's doing fantastic! I think being a guy makes it easier for him, but I certainly don't begrudge him his success! We're both going in the right direction, so that's good.

We're thinking of taking the little one on a cruise this summer and so I think that's a good goal for dropping a few more lbs. I have my over all goal, but that may take a year to reach, so smaller goals are  a bit more managable.

You're Right!

We are all going to have our ups and downs.  So long as you keep making progress going down.  And look!!!!!  That's what you've been doing!!!!  You've lost almost 9 lbs. from where you started!!!!    So, you see????  You can do it --- and are!!!!!

I'm glad you're not making the mistake of comparing your losses to your husband's.  I'm glad for him, too, but as we all know, men's bodies let go of fat much quicker than women's.  They've proven it, too.  So, just keep your eye on what you are doing.

Plus, being the mom of a "little one," you don't have quite as much time as others to concentrate on yourself.  Just do what you are able, and do the very best you can -- and you'll see your weight keep on coming down!!!!
